Theory lesson with Mr Chan... wich we went through the workbook... quite a waste of tiem anyway... 3 periods gone so fast... then had a preview of yr 2001 and yr 2002 D&T paper... 100 marks as full marks, 50 mark for theory and 50 marks on drawing... in drawing, 10 marks for GPO, 10 for isometric and THIRTY MARKS FOR FIRST ANGLE OR---GRAPHY!! I ask for 5 10-cent coins but the aunty gave me 10 5-cent coins... lol... then went to do the whole of maths ws... then change and assemble... the time juz right... Then assemble at the foyer at first, then went to class to put down bags, then assemble back. Then is 2 people share 1 box... some wooden box made during D&T by dunno who, can tell, cuz the wood grains were not refined and they were punched together using a stapler. I am doing with Sean lah... then actually the street collection is from 2pm to 6pm... then we assemble, got boxes, write names and briefing... already half an hour gone... actually at first we muz go tampines, but then Miss Tan finally let us go anywhere we like, but dun spend too much time on bus trip. The box we got already got money inside... cuz u cant remove the money inside, muz use hammer to smash... haha. Nevertheless, I donated 5 5-cent coind and sean donated 80 cents... We went Suntec City, taking bus 36... no one took with us... then we were quite lost there... cuz I forgot how to get to city hall MRT :S... and there were 2 taxi stands outside Suntec City, separated by the bus stop... then we collected money from one line of people waiting for taxi, then went to another, then by that time the first grp of ppl already gone, so we go back... lol... I was actually holding the box while Sean was asking people to donate. Sean did most of the talking... around 90%... then got this guy from the taxi queue... we ask him to donate then he say sth like 'how can I know whether this box is genuine or not', then suddenly I remembered the licence, and we brought it along... and that guy finally donated $5... the max amt we got from 1 person. Then later, we decided to go City Hall MRT Station, cuz more people. The taxi stands are around the Fountain of Wealth, and also a bus stop going towards sch in which we found. Behind the bus stop is some administrative office or sth. Then we thought maybe afterwards we can go home from the bus stop. We asked one security guard where city hall MRT station is... then he gave complicated instructions so we decided to follow his first few directions and see whether we can tyco or not... We past through the 'admin offices', then inside suntec city mall, which was one whole long stretch, then cross this overhead bridge to citylink or sth... walk past the whole stretch of it to city hall MRT... then saw some guy from sean's chi class, called Colin... haha, steal their customers... then later we saw Alvin (Hoe), Kevin, Jun Jia, Ser Kiat, Teck Boon, Jun Jie... ya i think tts all... then at around 4pm the 8 of us went burger king for abt half an hour to have our lunch... then I dint know regular coke was so huge... couldnt drink finish... then went back... ask some more people to donate... then i joked and said that why not I go down the escalator and ask people to donate upstairs, while sean waited upstairs... lol... oh ya... sean asked a pair of lady twice for donation... haha... Then later we decided to go back... damn funny... cuz Ser Kiat they all dunno how to go back, and wanted to take 36 with us, thats why they went wif us. Reached chi high at 8.30 am this morning... Met Woon Yang... actually he was in the gym...... then he got excused because he said he had to go sci centre... juz dint state what time he muz go (actually 1pm). I was quite early anyway... saw a sec-2-victorian-who-got-gold-in-the-juniors-section called jian han... yeah... he's a head taller than me... haha. First was the project thingie prize presentation and presentation. Nono, ur aren't seeing double... the 2 grps who had gold/silver had to present... the grp who had gold (from chi high) had this problem on tic tac toe... very funny... on a 2x2 grid ttt (shortform for tic tac toe), the first person always win... haha... then they explained how the 2nd person muz block on a 3x3, 4x4 and 5x5 grid ttt... then they had this no. of wins located on each grid... and then they have the no. of dunno-what... in the end they summarise... but I dint understand... too cheem already... then the 2nd grp (from river valley high) was the moving sofa thing... where a rectangular block is moved through a right-angled way...then they gave a few equations on how long the length of the way b4 the turn and after the turn as compared to the length/breadth of the 'sofa'. They juz flash the equation and then nx slide liao... dint even have time to understand... they also showed the turn in a acute-angled one... then the equations the same... flash and gone... then they gave an example of the acute-angled -- the carpark... where cars must in from the entrance and pay $1... cannot go from the 'exit' and skip the $1... I was wondering... won't there be a barrier or something at the exit? Then they applied their formula to the exit thing... and found out that it was a 'brilliant' design... and I wondered, why can't the cars reverse and go to the carpark? Yeah... enough of that...make sure u dun play ttt with the chi high presentors... haha... oh yah... the grp who had gold had dr spario soon to help them... dr chua's friend.... and the grp who had silver had dr chua himself to help them... unfair... no wondered they get award... okay... to the prize presentation for the maths olympiad... actually jian han and I dunno what we are going to receive... yeah... we recieved the team award anyway... oh yah... forgot to mention that lester dint come for dunno-what-reason... and woon yang was sitting at the back of the auditorium.... jian han & I got a hugh envelope with a trophy? Dunno to call it trophy of what... cuz it had this base with 'team award, 15th, victoria sch' and the top was this square pyramid made of glass (plastic, sorry), yah... quite nice... and inside the envelope was 3 certificates for lester, jian han and I and another envelope with $100 cash inside... then we were like wondering whteher we need to give the money to the sch... or how we can divide the money... then jian han was scared to present the 'trophy' to the school... haha....... most likely he will do it... since he got the only gold... and they are selling the ans book for junior's section, senior's and open section... all combined for $3... only today... if not then its $3.50... lol... then jian han borrowed $3 from me to buy... Why can't we juz buy the ans for jr's sec? Maybe $1? (oh yeah for people reading this, pls dun think dirty) and then VP was juz outside our class while she had oral, and we were actually not doing what Mrs Quintal ask us to do (read poems from transparency...). He came into our classroom, yes, Mr Low... and then asked Arthur and Jun Jia to stand up... cuz they were playing arm wrestling... then he said words like 'shit' and 'damn'... aiyo... what a poor vice principal... then he ask the moniter whether he controlled the class or not... then Arvind said he shout also no use... then Mr Low wrote: Moniter 1) shout also no use and actually Arvind was talking b4 Mr Low entered the class... because Mrs Quintal is realli.... ergh.... and Mrs Quintal was smiling when Mr Low entered our class............. Had to stay back today for oral.... and since Im register no. last.. I had to stay back from 12.30 to 2.15... and she racist lah let the malays take the oral first... okay fine, they have prayers. I suck still... bye #109419677285289880 posted at 3:09 pm   Thursday, September 02, 2004 This morning I woke up and went to school with a spoilt watch... the hours indicator showed something like 11 but the 2nd '1' has the top part missing, then the min indicator is actually the seconds indicator but inverted... means if the seconds is 43, the min is 34... then the seconds indicator keep looping.... when the ones digit reaches 6, it became a '0' and the tens place became +1... okay, that was complicated... so I juz summarise... I got a spoilt watch. Had soccer during PE in the field at East Coast Park. But when we set up the cones as the goal post, it rained... soon it sorta subsided and we had 15 min to play. Some people took out their shoes and socks... haha... Then we won something like 3-1... or dunno "how-many"-1. Got one shot Tegoeh kicked the ball with the puddle of water and I caught the ball while swallowing some water... The goal scored against me was when a nice pass from forgot-who and Tegoeh 'lobang' me... haha... Fang He scored a goal when someone kicked the ball, and then Ser Kiat missed, and he looked at the 'goalscorer' and was like saying its not fair or sth... actually because of the water, the ball stopped halfway at the goal line and Fang He juz kick it in... hehe..... Almost the whole class didn't wear shoes and socks during Sciece lesson which was after recess which was after PE. All barefooted... the shoes and socks are simply too wet... and when I wore it during Mrs Quintal's class... I was like *yucks*... Mrs Quintal is really damn slow... she took eng oral on monday and today... total of 3 periods... and she only took like less than 10 ppl... cuz she explained what we must do and to discipline us while no one was actually listening to her... hehe.... and she had to use the CHinese periods for some ppl to go and take the oral... then chen lao shi was like damn angry.... why muz use her chi period... yeah.... Glad that today is the last choir prac until after SA2... and Mr Kwei taught us a new Phillipino song called Pokpok Alimpako... a sorta tongue-twister by young children.... very very fast... and yeah, we only learned half the song... actually not much point teaching us.... cuz after a long break, I think I will mostly forget all the parts liao.... haha....... Tomorrow... I think Mrs Quintal is going take oral for everyone and I am going to be the worst because Im register no. last, so I have to stay back the longest... Oh yeah... a few days ago...
