Saturday, November 27, 2004 I wanna complain liao. Today suay, kena pumped 5 times. This morning choir. Woke up slightly late but luckily reach school on time. Then I forgot what reason then Johnnie pumped the whole choir. Then after that we lined up according to games - Soccer, Badminton, Tennis and Basketball. Then I played the soccer.. cuz I never bring any rackets and I dun lyk to play bball.. then there were only like 7 people initially.. then fall in position I was standing to the right as one person only, cuz 3-3-1. Then Reuben arrived (late) the Johnnie asked him to check the fall in position cuz he's in the Leadership Training Camp.. he didn't know, then Evan arrived (late too) then he realised.. Reuben joined the soccer thing then 8 people, then we fall in like the border of tic tac toe like that, no idea why lah.. i dunno. Then soccer. The gates were locked so Joshua (Cheam), Yuan Kuan, Ying Hao, [one sec 3 guy (forgot his name)] and me crawled in a hole at the side, used for cricket. Then soon Johnnie got the key from the aunty then went in. The field was very muddy. Then Joshua (Cheong) and Johnnie joined also, so become 10 players. 5 versus 5. Joshua Cheong took off his shoes and socks so I also loh. Not really used to it at the beginning... cuz quite ticklish. Shoes were used as goal posts. Then play loh... haix, dun wanna tok abt it. Oh, the game must stop by 9.30 and must assemble. At 8.45am then the game stopped for break. I didn't know... thought stop liao so I go put back the shoes. Then after that have to put again loh. For Johnnie he measured 10 steps its tight and compressed. What I meant was that the next steps the heel was at the 1st step's toe like that, while Joshua Cheam's was like so spaced out, oh please, it was my 13 steps anyway, I moved it back like 1 or 2 steps then got pumped... lucky not too much.. 5 push ups only. Then he ask me to move it further. Hello? it's my 15 steps liao, like whatever.... And also Johnnie said we should enjoy the game... and now it's PT.. even if you are in charge and sectional leader and comm member doesn't mean you can punish me when its only a game. I mean... I dun mind if it's like compulsory to pump for PT... as in I dun have a choice. ARGH!! FORGET IT. Anyway, Yuan Kuan told me he lost his specs - he put it in a shoe which i took. Then finally found... it was when I kicked the ball while holding the shoe, a bit scratch on the specs... SORRY YUAN KUAN!! Then play play then went to washup a bit.. then right at the dot I assembled then Johnnie was counting down very loud... "5! 4! 3! 2! 1! ALL OF YOU PUSH-UP POSITION DOWN!!!" Okay, that's kinda usual liao, used to it.. lol. Then assembled loh... then instructions all those. Then went to change... my T-shirt and shorts full of mud, then went to the music room. All combines... again no sectionals. Did all the 4 songs loh. Then had this file check. Lucky I nv miss out on anything. Then those who talk get pumped... didn't know at first.. but just pump lah. Forgot what was the 5th pumping for. Went down to the canteen for lunch after choir and then went home. I bathed with my PE T-shirt and shorts and my socks... believe? Haha, I washed them to be exact, while I bathe... not really wash... maybe just rinse until most of the mud comes out. Rinsed my shoe also.. then slept until 9. lol. It's like 5 to 6 hours like that. Then dinner (very late dinner). My sister wants to use the scanner on my computer. So I had to unplug my printer, unplug her scanner, plug in the scanner into my computer. Then the damn thing won't install, say no installation CD or sth... then have to unplug the scanner, plug back the scanner onto my sis and com plug back my printer. GRRRR! Happy bdae to Liew Xun and Jovern!!! Thursday - 7.30 am... compulsory PT. Oh yeah, I couldn't understand the Merchant of Venice thing. Read 1 or 2 pages then dun understand liao. But wait, let me start with the day before first. Called Samson to go for the PSLE thing... I at first ask him whether he recognize my voice... then he said I'm Woon Yang... haha... he didn't know I'm sherman... then we chat for a while then I said that Zhi Jie and Woon Yang going also... then he was so surprised cuz he forgot im sherman, he thought im Woon Yang -.-! Last night, I bet with Ashleen that she will get above 260 for PSLE for 50 cents. Then I bet with Bertrand that Zech will get top with a score of 273 for 50 cents also.. Then last night only Bertrand was online all the way til 3am... playing neopets... haha... then we played tic tac toe and I won 8-0 and 30 draws before I stop and wanna slp... then he also slp at that time. Okay... this morning... Samson called me and told me that he is not going cuz Kee Wei is not going also... then Woon Yang only left his school at 10.50am.. but he reached TPS at 11.15... earlier than me... lol... cuz he got a lift from his friend. Then I met up with him to bug Samson... haha... then I told Woon Yang what happened the day before... then Woon Yang said he wanna try talking to him.. cuz we need to unlock the door to his house.. Then she say I grown so much taller... haha.. im taller than Robyn already. Then Samson went to 'ba gua' about his brother's results... his brother lost to Samson by 29 marks... 235! Samson was so disappointed... lol... he shouldn't be loh... I lost to my sister by 30 marks, then his bro lost to him by 29... haha... I should be the one to be sad... Ai ya his brother can't come to VS liao, unless he appeals. We wanted to ask sir to help us pump the soccer ball.. so we can play. Then Ashleen saw me.. then she ask me whether I'm sherman... then she handed me 50 cents. I pretend im not sherman... but so sad Bert all those dun wanna help me, and I was half laughing... lol... Oh yeah... we went down to buy drinks... only the drinks stall was open. Then Bertrand ordered some juice and left for a while... then the aunty remembered who's one it was, then she say something like Mrs Lian's... haha. Then the 4 guys played basketball... Isaac only half playing bball half playing soccer.. Oh yeah... got the soccer ball pumped liao... then raining. So we stopped for a while loh... then we went to the Siglap CC (not Siglap South CC) to play soccer... then Kee Wei came.. Lyn and Mabel went home.. Oh yah... Sir ask Isaac where is Mabel... haha! Okay... then the 5 guys (Bert, Woon, Isaac, Samson, Kee Wei) and Robyn played bball... didn't really play cuz 7 people can't really play, and also I dun lyk playing basketball. They played for a while then played soccer... then went to eat at a nearby coffeeshop... Only Isaac, Woon, Bert, Robyn and me lah. Only Isaac and Woon Yang ate, and all of us drank. Then we went to Bert's house to play... that time was about 4pm liao. Then we played 2 rounds of Uno... loser have to pump 20, Robyn lost twice... since she's a girl, she did half, so 10 pumping twice. Then we played a round of monopoly... it's pokemon version... then the 2nd richest person do pumping. I was somehow rich, but not much properties... tried to trick Bertrand into giving 1000 for 1 property of his... but he realised... lol... no one was bankrupt... we played until 6.30... then I got around 2500 in cash and 500 in properties :S. Then Woon Yang got 3000 in cash and lotsa properties... haha... so he was the 2nd richest. Isaac dun need to count also richest, cuz he owned the dark blue properties and built 2 houses on each... Bert 4th, Robyn poorest. Lucky I third richest... or 3rd poorest, the same lah, then Woon have to do 10 diamond pumpings... lol. Then went home loh... Now it's 20.15. Early in the morning... rain like what.. supposed to reach school at 7, then I reach there like 7.35. Chin Boon was first... so early.. haha... then we kinda left by a bus at 7.15.. when around 16 ppl were there.. 4 were missing... Edmund, Wei Liang, dunno liao. Kinda the first school to reach CCA Branch... then we were grouped into 6 different groups - blue, red, orange, yellow, green, forgot-what liao. Then all of us separated into that 6 groups loh.. then we have this orange T-shirt to wear, a wrist band (made of cotton, not those rubber kind) that is the group colour.. then got this basketball keychain... im in orange!! Same as my T-shirt colour, and same as Jerome and Jovern (is that the correct spelling?). Then have to change into that T-shirt... then Miss Lau go and sit one side then take care of our bags... when actually the whole lot of students can put their bags somewhere. Then by the time we change then around all the i-think-17 schools arrive liao... then have to wait a while then can go into the hockey field... by that time it stopped raining liao. Then everyone was grouped into their own colours... Fung Qi was in our group... *gulps*.. haha. Got this Mrs Song... but she not singing song for us.. lol... she's quite a joker.. Then have to go into the sports hall... then some briefing. Got soccer, netball, basketball and floorball. We have to mix around with boys and girls loh.. There was this facilitator to help us... she from MJC... First (category 1) I played basketball.. its 2 girls 1 boy vs 2 girls 1 boy... then bcuz im team 2... then like played last, of cuz, then they say need to assemble when we havent even play for 3 min. The team 1 (3 girls vs 3 girls) we lost 6-2, then the team 2 (us) we drew 0-0. Then category 2 I played bball again... played wif jerome and one more guy... that guy is good loh... we won 30 something - 5. lol. Then breakfast break... only those who played can eat.. I didn't eat anyway... only Ling Chung ask me whether I wanna eat then I took a curry puff.. Jovern didn't play yet he ate... wah slack eh.. Third category.. TKSS, CHS (catholic high, not chinese high) and VS was there. First was the warmups.. then got split up into 4 sections (sop, alto, tenor, bass) for all 3 schools... then all mix together... had to learn this SYF set piece called "sunset". It's a combination of 4 languages.. okay... this is how it goes.. [beat][beat][beat][beat][beat].. passed the music corridor, corridor, heard the instruments sound again [instruments],[instruments],[instruments],[instruments].. sunset, sunset let's go home, sunset, sunset sunset, sunset let's go home, sunset, sunset sun falling in the west, the evening star does shine, birds are silent in their nest, and I must seek for mine Note: Different colours show the different languages, and Tamil, Malay, Chinese, and English. Argh... okay enough of that nonsense.. I saw Desmond Zhu (from TKSS tenor), Marcus (some guy whom I met during the choral excellence, from CHS) and some other ppl Ling Chung met during the CE as well... He said lucky the gay wasn't there.. one guy kept following him last time.. haha. The Tenor SL from TKSS ran through the whole song, then he beat in crotchet, then change to quaver, then crotchet again... in the end we have to do sectionals as diff. schools... haha. Went back to the 'hall' for combines... that time was around 10.. then kinda combine the whole song... as usual Tenors are the suckiest.. haha.. then Mr Kwei said when we are having sectionals as a very large group, someone will bound to fall asleep... so he say he will divide us into our schools to practise... then after that at around 12 something we sang for each other.. Our school was the last to sing, then it was really soft and sucky... tenors got one part one tone flat... yeah.. We kinda passed, but it was really sucky loh.. Actually the choir workshop supposed to end at 5, but then Mr Kwei thinks the song is easy, so we can go at 1... haha... then had to stay back cuz Theodore and Johnnie need to tell us somethings... they tok so much crap loh... 2.30 then can go... so hungry that time... haix... bcuz of lee hsien long, the 5 day week thing, and bcuz of mr ang, we have to have longer schools... like dismissed no earlier than 3.30 each day nx yr... with 2 breaks I think... haix... then choir prac on thu will be from 6 sth to 8 sth... wah lao.. then sat morning wil afternn... actually some people want wed, thu, fri have choir prac, then sat dun have, but ah well... majority wins =). This sat choir prac... PT from 7.15 to 10 (inter-sections games :S), then maybe prac until evening or late afternn. Sian.. Oh yeah... one more thing... Yen Riel, Jerome and Justin Lim didn't go for practice for very long, then all of them turned up today.. Jerome told me all 3 of them are quitting choir... haha... then Johnnie still SCOLD SCOLD SCOLD them... haix... Dear Johnnie... they are quitting, you scold them so much, you are just encouraging them to quit.. PT at 7.15... Johnnie said last time was the last PT but today also got. Actually they wanted to stop PT at 8.30... but many people wanted to play more... so stop at 9 loh. I played soccer.. at first the score was 5-2.. we won... then cuz like thrashing... so we kinda choose teams again. Then this time was something like 7-2.. we lost... haha... another thrashing. Choir in the classrooms again... from 9.30 to 12.30... then Reuben (Tenor 1) wanted to drop to bass... he wanted to drop long time ago liao... so Joshua (Cheam) test his range... then Theodore said he go test.. then he hid the piano so that Reuben can't see what note... in the end I think he reached high G... lol... that's the tenor 1 note. He so disappointed... so Theodore let him drop....... to tenor 2... haha Then learn the Pokpok song... some of us got pumped twice.. those who are not singing the alto 2 part... cuz we couldn't come in on time. Managed to learn the whole thing today then practise.. Then we practise the Gloria song.. then after that had voice class... dunno which came first.. the voice class or Gloria. Then got this blasting exercise... we have to go to this place... then Joshua will be at 2 corridors away.. in between is open space... wah damn far leh... then somemore got some guests... dunno who they are... got some girls and boys not in uniform... at 6th and 7th floor... then we clap for our members then they clap as well :S. Anyway... The other sections all follow us... after we tenors finish that then sopranos, then bass, then I think alto also. Some 'fun' after that.. some people have to sing some songs... haha... Reuben went first... cuz Joshua juz like to pick him. He dunno what to sing... Joshua say any pop songs... then ask us to suggest... I suggest 'invisible' by clay aiken.. lol.. damn high... until A loh.. haha. Then in the end he didn't sing.. then Terry had to sing 'out there'... the Rhapsody 7 song.. then Edmund sang... Dao En also.. then Joshua sang some christian song... then Joshua (Cheong) had to sing some pop song to end the day.. I dunno what he sing... some rock or something... then after that announcements.. Next Tuesday need to meet at SSCC at 9.45am.. then have to watch some concert at dunno when.... some Xmas thing... oh yeah... Johnnie was reading one more concert... which today... lol... then got this name I think is Panis... then he go read as pan(saucePAN)-is .. when it's supposed to be pah-nis... haha... his reading got problem. The Xmas one $13 for the very very back seat... that's discount for students. For the most front seats need $80 =\. Who will pay loh... so ex for some concerts. Wednesday morning (yesterday)... he called me using his hp and ask me when is the nx choir prac... I didn't know at that time... cuz they say SL will call us... then Evan and Joshua always call me at night. Today choir. I was kinda bored so I went to SSCC 50 min earlier.. like 1.40 instead of 2.30.. lol.. I called Jerome... then he never pick up... then with that same number, someone called Nathalie SMS me then ask me who I am all those... then "she" said "she" was jerome's friend... turned out to be jerome... haha... I kinda knew it already.. cuz can't be so coincidental... Jerome suddenly change phone then the number goes to his friend... haha... I go ask so many questions. Anyway. Today choir. Learned a new song called Gloria. Dunno why today I can sing high... like the high F# also can... then last time the Salve Regina the high E cannot sing... lol. This saturday got choir prac... 7.15 assemble... then got PT... haha... PT only until 8.30.. then rest 1 hour... until 9.30 prac then go classrooms and sectionals all those... Next Tuesday got another choir prac... some SYF set piece... Mr Kwei is combining with 2 other schools... TKSS and Catholic High... 10 am at SSCC... he say will be all the way until 5 sth... with lunch break in between. So long.. Next Thu Deepavali... so dun have I think. HOMEWORK... sian... I know it's kinda after midnight. Went to the bookstore this morning. I thought it would be like a long queue which I have to queue for like 1 hour... but turns out to be quite short... in fact... when I went there there was no one before me, and no one after me... lol. Still haven't take the brush.. the aunty said when school starts then go and get myself. Reached home at around 10.30... then forgot to buy uniform... ai ya... heck. Lunch at 11.30 (earlier than usual)... then went for choir prac... Sean called me at around 12.30 then told me he's already at SSCC and he said the prac starts at 1.15. Harh.. but it's kinda all right.. cuz I was still in school uniform. I reached there at around 1pm.. then so many people there already. But Johnnie assembled us only at like 1.45pm. Sectionals... okay... the test. We (tenors) had warmups first... then we have to leave the room and only 1 person go in at a time. Sec 1s first, then 2s, then 3s. Haha... Edmund went in first... then Joshua (Cheong), then me then Leon... then must go back outside after going in until everything ends. I went in... then must exchange score with Evan... cuz Johnnie wants him to write comments into the score. What the... all my notes inside. =\. Ai ya... his score got more stuffs than me... haha. Anyway... they purposely chose a difficult part for me... cuz Joshua (Cheam) was like whispering to Evan what to choose... then they both laugh.. They chose the ending part... Ej ya er go part... My first time singing for today then they want me to straight away sing high E... crazy... lucky I was kinda all right. Joshua said I was good... then said I need more musical (phrasing) and the dynamics must be more obvious.. something like that lah. After that whole thing... we went back in... surprisingly... I passed... yay!! Joshua (Cheong), Ling Chung, Fadhil and Theodore passed... of cuz Theodore will pass lah. Then that time was like 3.55pm... then those who passed can go... I sorta stayed for a while... then at 4pm the room needed to be closed... then those who failed have sectionals while I go.. okay... Cuz the music room is being used, and we can use classrooms, well... we had practice in school. All 4 sections use 4 classrooms just beside each other... Actually can be called slack-tionals. Lol... First the piano the plug cannot be plugged inside... cuz dun have the plug key... so we went bass there... then have warmups... then sang the Salve Regina... Joshua (NAB) called Theodore for something... then Theodore heard his name as 'dildo'... lol... Then when they learn the Pokpok song, we went back and learn the Salve Regina... for about half the practice we practise on that. Then Theodore said he wanted us to sing some relaxation song... guess which... Out There. The Hunchback of Notre Dame song we sang on Rhapsody 7. We kinda solo... but 2 people each time... then must separate. Even Evan and Joshua (Cheam) had to sing. Actually we got odd number of ppl excluding Theodore... then he say he will sing with me... then Terry went out to the toilet... he came back then he say he wanna pee somemore... so I did the solo with Reuben and then Terry had to alone... haha. Then Theodore taught us the posture and the actual way of breathing in... must breathe in as if smelling a flower... haha. At the end we never learn the Pokpok song... Well... after that announcements and went home loh... Wah... long paragraph. Okay... Sunday. Nothing much... Sunday was basically the day where I used the computer the whole day (same as today [Monday])... and was learning the Rubik's Cube... like today. I sorta memorise how to do 2 layers already... the last layer must look at the notes I kinda download from the internet. Tomorrow got to collect the books from the bookstore. Then got choir practice as well. The bookstore open from 9am to 3pm and choir practice starts at 1.30. So I think I go to the bookstore early... planning to bring an empty bags so that I dun have to hand carry so many things... then gonna come back and put down the things, then empty my bag, then place the choir stuffs into my bag and leave for Siglap South Community Centre... tomorrow gonna have one-on-one... should be one-on-two... cuz 1 person get tested by 2 Sectional Leaders. I think Tenors gonna get tested on Salve Regina. Tomorrow's test is actually a pretest... meaning if we fail then nothing lah... but very hard to enter Mr Kwei's test for SYF. Packed my bag for tomorrow already...
