Wednesday, March 30, 2005 Happy Birthday, Timothy. Wah... Blogger is down. So must blog in notepad first.. lol. Monday... Err.. Maths... Can't believe Peng Ho and Junjie are going for the Beijing trip.. some Mathematical Olympiad training course, and it's damn ex, like 1000+? Err... CME was after recess.. hmmm... all crap lah... Then Chinese... I didn't do Jian Bao... in fact, many people didn't finish their Jian Bao, then Ms Ding suddenly become so fierce, say ask everyone to stay back and do, cannot go home then do. So I did during her reading period.. Heh. Then ate lunch then went for choir. Tenors stay in the room then had like damn small group practice... like 2 or 3. Not performing to each other but rather, practice. Ah yes something happened.. someone told Jiarong (again) that alto sucks, then I think Jiarong complained to Johnnie or something. And that person is none other than Peng Hock. Then he had to sing Salve Regina in front of all of us.. Then in the end it was like he cannot reach the high notes and a bit breathless... I think he was kinda sobbing lah... Tuesday. Nth much. Homec test. We had to bake this small cupcakes... Got 16/25 =\. Aiya... Dunno why is so sweet (again!! last time it was damn sweet as well) and my cherry SANK into the cake -.-! Music.. Some Cakewalk thing again... Oh yah... We all damn stupid.. go into cakewalk then got this introduction screen.. then had to wait damn long but still it hasn't load finish... That time Mr Ikhwan was out.. then when he came back he said "Okay, when you all open cakewalk, you will see this introduction screen. Just press 'enter' and it will disappear." WALAO!!! WE ALL WAITED FOR NOTHING -.-! Junzhe somemore ask me to restart com.. Science... Mr Ng's lesson is very what lor... before we even understand the topic he jumps onto the worksheets liao... our textbook is quite stagnant de lor.. walao sia. Oh yah... STRAIGHT after that was Ms Leow's makeup lesson... then we all complain we had no lunch (and I finished my cakes liao) so she say give us 5 min to go down and buy food then can eat in class... lol.. I think Peng Ho and I were the only ppl who eat right in front of her and shows some degree of disrespect. :D Then she ended the lesson at 3.40pm when she say she will end it at 3 or 3.15. She discuss the Sci FTP for so long sia... Then the ESP ppl (Enhanced Study Programme) must stay back cuz they came late for class.. Then Junzhe say he can't wait for her so he handed me the key... see I so nice... But then I ask her what time she will end, cuz I can go library first then come back, then she say dun need, she can bring them to the lab. Heh... No choir cuz they decided to give us a break. Wednesday. Had some Science lab today... makeup lesson for last week's actually... but nvm. Actually the lab is supposed to be yesterday after Leow's lesson, but then he see so many ppl nv come so he postpone it. Lab was crap. So sian... Art.. Explored this programme called blender3d. As in explore DEEPER. Quite cool lah... and 3D softwares are quite hard to control, I know, but then this programme is user-UNfriendly. All the stuffs all so messy... =\. Oh yah I created this 'monkey' but can't save in CD-RW, dunno why. Got the burner though. I think should use thumbdrive.. But then very ex sia... Wah got a lot of homework these few days... CME project, due next week. Have to find an article then write 400 words on it. Science project, due 3 weeks later, but I dunno whether I should call it as finished or not.. Chinese Jian Bao, due on Monday. Geography WB Pg 97-100, due on Friday. Find 3 pictures for English oral, as well as 1 travel brochure, due on Tuesday. Journal. Ah yes, this one must elaborate. Starting on April fools day (Friday), we must write 100 words on describing a person|character, place|setting or object EVERY DAY. So Friday we write on person|character, saturday on place|setting, sunday on object, monday on person|character, etc. Until Mr Tan say stop. =\. 100 words per day sia. Next Monday I only have to go to school at 10am. Wondering why? Cuz of SYF. No school then intensive practice from 10am onwards until evening when we perform.. Oh yah.. haven't blog about choir today... Had sectionals at 5+. Evan is quite unsatisfied with us.. =\. Oh yah LC, Reuben and I were at the 31 bus stop, then Timothy was at the 10 13 14 bus stop. Then he smsed the 3 of us the same msg about the meaning of jacking [for ppl out dere, pls give up checking the dictionary. and dun try it at home]. Then we all go SMS him back "Nice try..." at the same time.. lol. Damn funny sia... Oh yah... in the end Timothy SMS me and say he want me to demo on him, but then I say after SYF then do, dun 'stress' him up b4 SYF. Lol. Good Friday... we have choir practice though... went to school quite early... reached at around 12.20 when Johnnie asked us to reach at 12.45 and Mr Kwei is gonna come at 1pm. Ms Lau was like sitting at the staircase when I arrived cuz she's scared she will trigger the alarm.. Err... Friday's practice was quite cool... Pokpok Alimpako improved drastically.. serious. We did in small groups... 1st/4th row and 2nd/3rd row. Quite good lah, just that the pitching was fluctuating.. Mr Kwei was like damn happy with us... then he dismissed us at 3+ or 4+? Damn early sia.. Oh yeah... the policemen DID come. Then ask us to ask OM Goh.. Then Mr Kwei told them to go ask Ms Lau... Okay, move on to Saturday... Reached school at 7.15... Practice started at 7.30.. warmups and a quick run through of the songs... then went on the bus at 8.15. Sop/Bass one bus then Alto/Tenor 1 bus. Damn funny lor... We are supposed to do a head count, then LC was sitting beside me... then when it came to our turn we dunno who to say first... den both of us say "4, 5" at the same time.. lol... Went to Singapore Conference Hall... Very racist lor... the name and everything are all in malay =\. Then inside I see this big CO drum, then everything is CO.. lol.. Then went to practise with Mr Toh for a while. The room is very deceiving... All the sounds get absorbed easily... Lol.. then went to practice with Mr Kwei in the Conference Hall itself... Practised moving in and out of stage and the sounds.. Then after that went for break.. Junyuan, Hong Aik and I stayed to watch Commonwealth practise... their Sunset is quite good... better than ours at least... Then at 11.05 we went to assemble outside the conference hall.. Went to the room again... but then Commonwealth wanna use liao so we had to scram... scram to outside the Conference Hall area... quite squeezy though.. Then the Pokpok cuz it's like very sudden, then can hear all the echoes and stuffs... I thought the glass would break though :P. After practising a while with Mr Toh, we had another break =\. But then many people (including me) wanna watch TK, so we went into the Conference Hall.. After watching for a while it's time for us to perform liao... but it's reversed order.. Meaning TK, Commonwealth, Cat High then us... Our turn that time very confusing lor... cuz we had to go in through 2 doors, den dunno when and where to go... finally all of us were correct, except for Seth.. lol.. Performed... Hmmm... the Pokpok was really not bad lor... But then Salve Regina the pitch was flat at the end... I think the first page of the song it was already flat.. Then got debrief outside the Conference Hall... Johnnie ask us to pump 10 cuz of our discipline. I do agree our discipline is very bad lah... but pump 10 might as well dun pump. Oh yah.. Mr Toh ask us to knock it down after Johnnie 'recovered' us cuz I think he saw some people making faces at Johnnie... then when someone wanna walk past, he quickly said, "This is not a place for you to do your pumpings." Hmmm.. Then went home... but how? It was like raining. So err... Ling Chung, Reuben and I went with Ms E, cuz she's calling for a taxi.. Oh yah... Cheam missed a comm meeting... den Ms E knew about it... den she say she won't give him his comm CCA points at the end of the year.. lol.. I think she's JK lah. Oh yah, LC keep singing the TK song when they were walking out, then Cheam say dun sing cuz they will think they are very good... then LC say he wanna play mind games.. lol. Then took the taxi to school... only LC has an umbrella so we shared 1 umbrella while crossing the road after getting down from the taxi. I was in the middle so I was the most dry lor... then Reuben snatched the umbrella so LC was like in the rain while crossing the road... Haha... then took the 31 bus and went home.. Lucky didn't catch a cold.. lol. Hmm... I have almost completed the Science mini-project liao... See what I mean by it's better to do individual work than to do pair work... like Junzhe and Alvin (not spiting them though) haven't even selected their subtopic yet. I have almost completed means I still left finding some 'supporting documents' to get 'bonus marks'. Left what homework? Art Mascot, English [finding of picture], Zhou Ji. Zhou Ji I think I procrastinate til Tuesday or Thursday lah... then Art Mascot is due on Wednesday, so someone give me an idea of what to draw... must draw sth related to my CCA, i.e. choir. Ms Lim didn't come for Maths lesson and we had to do this worksheet... completed it in 45 min... then spend the other time slacking... lol. IPW was damn slack lor... Went to computer lab to slack. Didn't go for the drmwvr course because of choir. Choir end damn fast... around 4.30.. Oh yah, heard from some ppl that they drmwvr teacher was angry den tested one-on-one.. like must go up to the front then demo how to create something or whatever on the spot.. lol.. Lucky I never go sia.. Tuesday.. errr... for Homec, I was slacking lor... Mdm Yasmin gave 3 pages of the WB to do, then I did and I also pasted the magnet on my stuffed toy (a bone). Haha the bone managed to hang on to the magnet.. lol. Went to the music room during music lesson... turned out to be the IT lab.. then cuz not enough time, Mr Ikhwan just asked us to turn on the computer, then ask us to explore cakewalk ourselves (we learnt how to use it from Ms E last year) den the bell rang.. lol. I couldn't understand what he was talking during class though... even though the topic should be quite easy.. Choir prac.. Had 1-on-1.. actually mine is Wed but I can't make it (see below). Nothing lah just test on vowels and pitching (which I suck). Wednesday.. Geog we are supposed to do a mindmap.. den many ppl dint do they they anyhow do just b4 Ms Kong entered the class... den in the end only Peng Ho, Jason and Junren never do.. haha... I think around 1/4 of the class pia on the day itself.. Science... Mr Ng gave us the learning objectives for the WHOLE SEC 2 PHYSICS... like SIO like that... meaning what we need to know.. lol.. He gave us this mini-project worksheet as well which is due exactly 1 month l8r (23 Apr). Actually supposed to do the project in pairs, then I asked him whether I can do individually.. cuz I dun really wanna do with anyone... prefer to work myself.. Easier that way. Anyway, after that, Prem told us to go pack our stuffs.... den fall in outside seminar room 3. Then like suddenly after they checked our rooms... Prem just said "you all can go now"... so sudden sia.. =\. Went to play table tennis for a while, then the boys brigade came... den went to have makeup lesson with Ms Lim... with Jorven, Justin Ng and Yu Hang... Desmond, Terry, Neng Wei and I were in the same team.. The first thing we went to is this 2 storey staircase, which was actually the library one.. Like we were just in front of the library then everyone was like going everywhere then only us were left.. lol.. Oh yah... the fire exit staircase I think we were the first to go... then the aunty was sweeping away the clues.. =\. Then I ask her to leave it until 10am.. where we would have finished liao... den she say she cannot, whatever is on the floor is rubbish then must clear... walao sia.. so in the end I took the clue den Terry say leave the others behind.. =\. Our team in the end got the most clues... 17 clues out of 25.. lol.. The ending point also unclear... Then 3 teams were called out (our team included) then have to choose 1 person from each team... Terry volunteered.. lol. Then in the end it was a draw when they were called to unscramble the clues... Then have to unscramble again... Johnnie say it's something that he always says... den ppl were like shouting out "altos stay back" (tts what he always says), all the crap lah.. In the end it was "passion", then Terry got it.. lol.. so we won.. =) Halfway sopranos left lah.. Neng Wei left... cuz it's actually sopranos having sectionals with Mr Kwei from 10 to 11, altos 11 to 12, 12 to 1 is lunch den tenors 1 to 2 and basses 2 to 3. So went for sectionals... Cheam like damn worried like that... Then lunch, we must quickly eat cuz we must assemble at 12.40 to go to SSCC together liao. Our sectionals was quite cool... Mr Kwei said he didn't hear the funny voice... den Jia Xian didn't come... so we all think it's Jia Xian who make the funny voice... Then Mr Kwei said I got pure tenor voice =\. I was having flu btw... maybe when I have flu I have that voice.. haha... Then he classify Reuben, Terry and I as the 3 tenors and he say he should start the blend with us.. =\. Anyway the tenor section sounded quite nice.. =) Then we rested a while den combines with the basses... not bad lah... Then later was combines.. actually supposed to be Xu Hao teaching us until 6.. den Friday is inter-group games... den Mr Kwei say remove the IGG and put Xu Hao's practice. Oops.. should be Mr Loh.. I think is spelled this way.. Den went back to the school music room.. den Peng Leng and Cheam were like lecturing us.. Then at around 6, Johnnie suddenly say dunno dunno what den say work hard and play hard... den say we can go play anything until 7 =\. :S. Err... Went to the hall and took out table tennis tables... haha. Den played until 7. Then from 7 to 8 is our bathing... Then our room was opened up damn late... so by the time I went to the only toilet which has the shower, it was all occupied liao... So had to wait a while (wait for Edmund Chia to come out) den went in the bathed... den by the time I finished bathing it was like 7.40.. Oh yah... forgot to mention that sopranos were splitted up cuz the comm members taking their rm.. then Darren, Travis (both sec 1s), Neng Wei, Zheng Whye and Prakash came to our room... Then went for dinner... Oh yah... the food for lunch was actually not bad... as in, camp food are always poor... but lunch was quite nice... rice with some stuffs... Dinner was like.. WTF. Fried rice with egg plus some fruits... damn nice except for the egg... green egg yolk :S. Got gastric sia.. =\. Then err... I think is SL talking to each section... Cheam asked us about the TK choir and stuffs... TK choir their pitching was very what... Cheam say their first song was a tone sharp and 2nd song semitone flat.. Then we played truth or dare... I was like occupying 1/6 of the space lor... cuz of the way we sit... unfair sia... so the bottle pointed to me.. =\. Then Cheam ask a very sick qn which I shdnt post.. =\... den the 2nd one pointed to Leon... den we chose for him dare.. lol... Ask him to take the bottle and pole dance for us, then he dun wan, ask him to sing for us a song, he dun wan, ask him to choose either Peng Leng or Prem den pinch their nipples (=\=\) den he dun dare also... den he wanted to pump 50 cuz thats what Cheam said if he dun dare.. Den ask him to hug Edmond den he dun wan also.. wasted a lot of time sia... In the end he sang a verse of "last christmas". Then he wasted around half an hr lor... Then Johnnie say go to the basketball court. Oh yah... before that Cheam went out cuz someone ask him to go out... den when he came back he wanted all pumping position... den say a sec 1 from tenor was insulting the altos... in the end it turned out to be a sec 2... Leon.. Then Jiarong from alto was asked into our rm (we still pumping position) den ask him what Leon said.. blah blah... den in the end Cheam ask Leon not to joke anymore.. den all can recover.. =\. Then went to the basketball court... Cheam was telling us ghost stories b4 that btw.. Den Johnnie say line up in rows of even numbers, i.e. 2, 4, 6, etc. Cuz if we are in odd numbers, the middle person will kena possessed by ghost.. Then in the end we got rows of even numbers but we got 13 rows... Haha... nice number.. Then Johnnie was like... "why are you all in 13 rows? ADJUST ADJUST!!" Haha.... den told us about rules and regulations at night... say if we see Ms Lau, dun wave to her also.. dun shout out her name... den he say all go back den he wanted to speak to us tenors.. Johnnie told us about some ghost stories... den say 2 ppl were buried underneath our rm... den say it was at where Terry was sitting at the time Johnnie was talking to us.. Den told us that the circle outside the seminar room 4 was some yinyang thing... den told us to pray... Yesterday morning I went for Maths lesson... actually is Maths makeup cuz the first week of school Ms Lim wun be coming... so she gotta go through all the crap lah.... Then actually yesterday was for 2E only, then Wednesday is for 2B and 2H, den she say if cannot make it on Wednesday then go on Monday... in the end almost half the class went.. lol... Anyway I was like using up packets and packets of tissue paper... got flu sia.. Then Ms Lim went thru the Review Qns 5 and gave us some exercises to do in Maths 4. Then she was like calling us "2B E H". Haha... Oh yah... she told us NOT to do our maths homework in advance so that we can do it when school reopens... =\. K after that had lunch in school before going home.. Then wy2 and ashleen were like asking me to go for badminton, den say both of them + isaac also sick.. So I sick also go.. K then Ashleen say meet her at Bedok Stadium at 4.15... Say dunno-who booked the court from 5-7. A bit early leh.. Then err... met Ashleen... she was a bit late and she was like taking the taxi =\. So rich sia. Then went to Tampines Sports Hall.. Met Isaac a few min after we reached... Ashleen so eager sia... 4.45 only then she ask me to call Isaac and ask where he is.. :S. Then Xu Hao teach us some stuffs until around 11+.. den lunch den came back for the VFD prac.. Very funny lor... during break we were like playing truth or dare (we passed Reuben's water bottle around while Joshua Cheam sing, until he stops singing..) Monday... choir practice in the morning... Some pokpok alimpako as our wamrups... it's obvious that we went flat... I was laughing at the i-a-i-a-i-a-i part because it sounds like the non-comp group who sang.. No offence though. Then went to sing the NA and VA.. oh yeah, everywhere was wet so it was damn squeezy... Then went back to class... Maths lesson first... We went to a seminar room to do some activity... there's this visitor called Mr Chong... lucky he's not gonna teach us... instead, he's gonna teach 2E. Wish them luck. We were given 12 cards with 4 equations written at the top, bottom, left and right of each card, and must join them with another card so that the adjacent sides are equal. Then must list down all the equations that use (a+b)^2, (a-b)^2, (a+b)(a-b) and others. I grouped with Sean and Fang He... Chose Fang He cuz nobody left... den he never do anything at all. Anyway, we were the first to finish :D. Okay, it was a waste of time actually. After recess was Chinese. Had to do this letter writing despite our moaning and groaning. Haha, have to do lah, because that will add on to our CA1 marks. For me it's kinda okay, because my dictionary is in the locker, so no worries. Helped Junzhe take his dictionary as well, so that he has to put them back + arrange the stuffs in the locker. Haha. I'm evil.. Okay, then it was lunch. After lunch was 3 periods of Self Study. But the first period was taken up by Ms Leow for the make-up of one of the questions in the Science paper... Quite simple lah... 10 fill-in-the-blanks.. She dunno how to differentiate between left and right... The instructions (typed by her) says write the answers at the left of the margin while the margin is at the right =\. I think I can score at least 8/10 lah.. Then after that Sean and I told Mr Tan that we need to go to the Music Room to practise our Victorians' Family Day songs. Saw Johnnie and co. at the staircase nearest to the toilet.. then they were like saying we were late. Actually we were not lah... Then went inside the music room and we were given our scores... Cantate Domino, Let it begin with us, For the longest time. The first 2 songs are sung by the sec 4s 3 years ago. Cantate Domino quite easy and difficult lah... got lotsa repetition, quite easy as in the tune, quite difficult as in the rhythm. The Sops/Altos were fast sometimes and slow sometimes when combining =\. Very weird... Went back to class at 2.10pm. IPW. Quite slack, as Mr Tan was telling us about the hare and the tortoise. And yeah, was given a Maths WS and also this magazine by VS called the Spectrum 2004. Was reading the Spectrum anyway, until music.. I saw Mr Ihkwan earlier in the morning though... Dunno why they say no music, so I went to do my CME and also read the Spectrum. Played a bit also :P. Science... actually is lab lesson, but we went to Project Room 2 instead. Ms Leow showed us a video (3 videos actually.. she saw them in the library and thought they were related to the topic so she borrowed them without viewing them first) on blood.. As in those red and white blood cells, platelets and plasma. The clotting of blood by the platelets damn disgusting lor, and somemore Ms Leow go and say those clots are like those passed out when females are having their menstruation. Then MS LEOW WAS SMILING LEH -.-! She go and like boast that she's not scared. WTF sia... We were all freaked out. Anyway, I was doing the Maths WS during her lesson... Haha... she taught the transportation in humans. After school... I saw Reuben then he told me LC went to look for me (during SS, I went to look for LC but can't find him cuz he's having MT). Say went to class 2B.. lol... we went project room 2 lah... Anyway, found him in the canteen. Tried to cheat him into giving $3.. cuz $1 for each score... Muahahahahaha. Ms Leow returned us our CA1 paper.. Actually upon 40 lah, then they cancel a question about cloning so become upon 37. Then heard from Jing Yuan that Tamim slept on the bus and missed the VS bus stop, cuz Tamim was sitting at the back, then when Jing Yuan got down the bus, he was looking for him then can't find him. Then I looked back, realise there's a whole lot of mess on the floor. Guess what... Tamim vomitted. =\.
