Anyway, Monday we went for SYF Closing Ceremony.. The French songs dunno why sounded so nice suddenly.... Mr Kwei was very happy I guess... den Spirited Away not as good as HK, or more or less the same... Pokpok.. we were rushing lah... But then as usual the crowd will laugh or whatever..

Whatever lah. Can't think of anything to type liao. Ms Seema leaving at the 7th week den some relieve teacher teach before Anuar come back in term 4... Anuar dun need to teach liao lor...

Thursday.. The choir didn't do the hand-sign thing for very long then the instructor like not that happy.. lol... cuz we all like screwed up or whatever... den at first wanna do in small grps but didn't liao... lol.

Yesterday was the rehearsal for the NDP lah.. Went Marina South until 9.30pm... I fink I didn't go to the toilet for like 15 hrs lor.. dunno how... cuz morning wake up den went toilet den until night den go... lol. Anyway our dinner was some bun and some mashed potato, which I took like 2 and bread took 3. Haha.. but I am like so nice and gave LC one.. I still cannot catch up with the hand signs thing... Nvm lah, practice makes perfect =)

Anyway, tomorrow is SYF Closing Ceremony performance. So get to leave after the Chinese test and blah blah blah. After tomorrow then practices will be very free already. Only Thursday and Saturday practices in Week 5, Thur practice in Week 6 and National Day thing in Week 7 (right when you're at home watching the NDP on TV).

Anyway, this week I have been trying to catch up with my school work, and as a result I cannot finish the current homework and got scolded.. and lack of sleep resulting in short term memory and forgetting to bring stuffs for lesson and have to stand outside the classrm.

But that was history! I mean, that's for literature but that's the past already. So I will be a good boy and try to catch up with whatever I can today and tomorrow.

Heard that speech day performance today was kinda okay. I am not that sure. But I wasn't involved. I went to Temasek Pri for the Magicland thing and blah blah blah. On Thursday we went to Esplanade for SYF Closing Ceremony rehearsal and disgraced ourselves. Imagine VSchoir being top in Singapore and sings such lousy songs. Or rather sings songs lousily. Like Ling Chung has been trying to do something and err... okay shan't reveal much.

So the SYF Closing Ceremony is on this coming Monday, so skipping part of Chinese (but still have to take the test) and the whole of Project Work. Which means Sean and I won't be there for Project Work and means our group would only have 4 people presenting the powerpoint. Which means they are most likely not gonna present on that day. Which means the powerpoint can delay for fine-tuning. Which means more presentation marks and more whatever.

Ok anyway, gonna list down the hwk I have to do today and tomorrow. But maybe mostly would be done tomorrow:

Den had lunch.. den went to Science Museum for this Workshop with Mr Kwei. Got many local choir conductors came and listen. Den he talked about warmups, how to improve the choirs all those lah. Den Reuben kena chosen for this support thing that Mr Kwei need to demo. Suay.

Den went to BU for dinner den went to the 3rd concert. Some songbridge thing. I dun understand. Only 4 choirs were singing and they sing many songs that represent world peace? I dunno lah. But it was very boring.

Whatever... went back and slept liao.

Day 5.
About the same as day 3 in the morning... But afternoon we got afternoon nap. Actually tenors sectionals den lunch den nap. Haha. Slept until 3.45pm den had warmups with Desmond den went to HKCC.

Practised the Music of the Spheres... now the conductor is some Finnish conductor... very what lor... always angry at this and that.. Whatever... den went to have dinner in some small room.. had gastric problems as usual... But never mind lah... nothing much lor...

Den performed... this time not bad already.. Hela Rotan was off tune... Pokpok was nice... as usual the audience will laugh at our last pose.. Den went up to the balcony to sit down and prepare later for Music of the spheres..

Somehow I think the festival day 2 the conductor was better. This one was crap... hang some toy on his blazer -.-! Some Kari lah.

Den went back after that. Oh yeah... Ms Lau didn't set any curfew... lol... stayed up until 2am playing cards with Reuben and co. until that same old Finnish conductor came to our rm and complained we were too noisy. Haha.. =\.

Oh yeah.. forget to mention that there's a fine of HK$10 for every time you're late.. den the money will be given to the group who got the least number of late comers... den the 3.45pm thing Reuben's group strike jackpot sia... the whole grp was late. Haha. Lucky I was early all the times, or rather on time.. lol.

Day 6.
Blah blah. Ocean Park. Very what lor... I shouldn't have gone with my group cuz Darren wanna shop there... I wanna ride the roller coasters all those. Then in the end only went for 2.. Wanna go ride The Dragon lor... so sad.... wasted so much time...

Oh yeah... Darren was like very scared of the cable car... he held on to the pole and almost screamed.. haha... I keep teasing him, say see, someone dropped a map. Haha...

Played quite a lot of skill games (and lost.) and spent so much money on video games... Shame on me lol. Den at night got this Farewell dinner with all the choirs... Our choirs occupy 3 tables which Ms Lau was sitting at 1 table and Ms Ding on another... The table I was sitting at got no teachers... den we were like the most noisiest lor... keep cracking lame jokes and taking stupid pictures... haha.. =\.

Nth lah... went back and sleep.. blah blah.

Day 7.
Went to the Peak. Oh yeah.. Just outside BU den Ismaharif tripped and sprained his ankle.. den Reuben and I were just beside him den Reuben got no bag to carry so I sabo him den ask him to carry his bag to the hostel for him to rest. Den I keep saying Reuben was the victim (cuz he had to carry the bag for Ismaharif).. haha.

Den took MTR, bus, peak tram... spent quite a lot.. Then there was this magic tricks store den i went to ka jiao... say all the tricks.. I think the person was very mad at me so I quickly run away.. went to eat at Mcs and slack.. chose Macs bcuz its cheaper than Singapore. haha..

Nth lah... went back BU by tram, bus, ferry, chartered bus. Oh yeah... I managed to bargain from $500 to $400 for the chartered bus.. Cuz at first say $500 den I say cheaper... then he say $450.. den I say another company offer $450 so I could have already called the other company.. den he say $400.. haha..

Den went airport... reached at around 5pm.. den went to check in blah blah... nth much lah... plane was alright.. some rice with chicken I fink... Sian lah... reached Sg at 12+. The Stewardess very lame lor... say we have reached Kuala Lumpur International Airport... yeah right -.-!

Den took cab home with Robin. Went home bathed and slept at 2am.

Day 8. Jk. That's today anyway.
Woke up at 1200 hours. Got lotsa Hwk that I have to complete tomorrow and also some other IPW thing. Okay.. guess I gtg liao. Bye.

Day 1. [Saturday, 9th July]
Woke up at 3.30am in the morning. Or dawn. Then did some last minute packing like toothbrush and so on. Then walked to TPS to share cab with Robin and his parents to the airport.

Realised that I am the only 1 without anyone to accompany with. Others got parents, sister, etc. Then waited for a while then checked in.. Then went in.

Used my HK passport. Then they say need dunno what 'green card'.. but the lady still let me in even though I dun have. Then slept on the plane lah... The valuair plane very small.. only 6 seats a row and around 30 rows... den I was sitting on the asle seat.

Den breakfast was some Nasi Lemak... den played Daidee. Haha. Then when the plane was about to land, I suddenly got a headache... didn't cure until that night.

Anyway, went to claim baggage all those den went out den got this guy holding a sign say what "Victoria School Choir"... so followed him to a bus den went Kowloon Tong. Reached around 1pm.

Checked in to our room. They got this card thing which gave a mess at the entrance. haha. Then went to the rooms lah. The room very small then only got 2 beds, 2 tables and 2 cupboards.And aircon! Haha. Travis and I were deciding which bed to sleep. Then share toilet with Chin Boon and Justin!!! =\.

Went down to have lunch. Yan Cheng lost his passport (he found it at night at the airport.. dunno how it got there). They served spaghetti anyway... some buffet. I was still having a headache so went to sleep later and also when the others were practising the Music of the Spheres. THen at 3.30pm, they came back then asked my father to come and fetch me also.

Den went to some restaurant with my parents. Saw many ppl whom I haven't seen for a long time liao. Was still having a headache so went back home early to sleep. Then woke up at 10pm. Felt quite well already. Den ate dinner cuz I didn't eat before that. Then went back Baptist University (BU). Went to ka jiao people before bathing and sleeping at 12nn.

Day 2.
Actually was thinking to wake up at 7am but woke up at 6am cuz Travis woke up already and Justin came into our room to disturb. Travis keep sneezing at night lor -.-! Anyway, went down to have breakfast at 8am. Got egg, toast, ham, bacon, etc. Not bad lah... that's every day's breakfast anyway.. haha. All the meals are buffet...

After that went to wait for the bus at 8.45am to go Hong Kong Cultural Centre (HKCC). That place not very big lah... Then got other choirs from other countries. Had warmups with 3 conductors.. Haha... Mr Kwei not there sia. Then did Music of the Spheres. Actually got 3 different scores (choir 1, 2 and 3) and sop1,2/alto1,2 in each score so it's like 12 parts?

Nth much lah. This composer called Steve Ho tried to conduct us den very very messy cuz 3 choirs what. Den in the end ask Mr Tong to help. Haha. Then got one more Finnish conductor. The organist very buay song lor, cuz she sitting high up at the back of the stage den back face the conductor, only got a mirror so she cant see the conductor well..

Managed to learn the song lah. The other choirs all got a light sound.. den ours quite dark haha. Den went for lunch at BU den had practice with Mr Kwei. He say Mezzo/Alto got lotsa split notes. Oh yeah, got ppl come and watch.. free show sia. =\.

Den at 4pm Mr Kwei left so went to have sectionals with the mezzos. Desmond was speaking with the basses so I say 4.30pm start. Den they very noisy lor. Everytime also must talk. Almost wanted to pump them but I am like so nice.. I waited for their silence and dragged time. It ended at around 5.40pm. Did only the Japanese Medley and Suri Ram/Hela Rotan.

Then free time until 6pm. Den dinner until 6.30pm den went onto the bus and was singing some lame songs. Haha. Reached HKCC at 7.30pm den got a ticket. It's all in random order... so I sat beside Pock Thong and Darren. Took a few pictures with Ms Lau's camera before this guy asked me to stop. Lol. Oh yeah, Desmond and Reuben were wearing this red shirt and was holding the Victoria School Choir sign on stage with other choir representatives. Got 3 CIP hours sia.

First to perform was Yuen Long District Arts Committee Treble Choir. Their blending not too bad. The first song got 2 soloists den Pock Thong say the one nearer to us very chio... Haha.. despo sia.. den when she left den he keep finding her.

Then Glen Ellyn Children's Choir from USA... They got something like a skit, and they all looked very relaxed.. Den Xinxiang Pri Sch Bunun Children's Chorus from Taiwan.. Not bad also, the conductor (some Peter Ma) is some principal of that school then want to keep the culture of Bunun =\.

Then Choeur d'enfant du Benin. South Africa dance troupe sia. Haha... Only 1 person knows how to sing lor, the others all dance only. Haha. Nx was the Philippine Children's Choir from Mandaluyong. The conductor can tell is very strict lor. The choir very good... Den this Guangzhou Children's Palace Choir (can't rmb much) den Tapiola Choir. They got this skit of dunno-what lah. Den mass choir - Music of the Spheres. Steve Ho conduct den very nervous lor... the beginning he keep pointing to his eyes meaning "look at me".. haha... den he was shaking lor. The song quite grand lah.

Den went back and slept at 12.30am cuz was playing daidee with Darren and Travis =\.

Day 3.
Woke up feeling very sleepy. Went to the lounge for morning warmup with Mr Low den breakfast at 8.30am. Then went to HKCC for rehearsal for a while den went back to BU for lunch. Then had this tea reception at this ulu place. We got to eat some cakes and all sorts of stuffs which were gone quite fast. Haha. Den sang Itsumo Nando Demo and Suri Ram for them to hear. I dun think they appreciate music, they just smiled =\.

Den went back to BU for early dinner at 5pm den changed and went HKCC. Rehearsed for a while with some guy called Fernando Malvar-Ruiz (who conducted us for Music of the Spheres that night). Not really that good as compared to Steve Ho lah. Anyway, there was this very enthu guy in front of me.. I think around 8 yrs old... (choir 2, not 3, so sad)... den he sing very very loud lor... very airy and those notes which are supposed to sing but nobody sang cuz they dunno when to come in, he also sing... den keep moving his head back and forth and he even hit his chin with a guy in front =\. Even the Kotori choir girls beside him were laughing -.-!!!!!

Den went to our room at the 7th floor den just sat down and blah blah. Den at 9.30pm we went down and got ready to perform.

Screwed up lor. J'entends le Moulin was very soft, and some of us were supposed to stand on the platform but we didn't. Then French Medley there wasnt any dynamics at all and we didn't squeeze in for our standing positions. Itsumo Nando Demo was okay lah, but not much dynamics also. Da Chang Jing not bad. That's the only good piece. haha... Reuben did quite good for his solo =P. Oh yeah my voice cracked once but I dun think the audience can hear. Haha.

Den nth much... went back to sleep... very sleepy liao.

Anyway, just blog superficially, maybe this will be the last post until I come back from HK, where I will have many things to blog about.

Monday. Youth Day Holiday. But there's choir prac at SSCC.. Nothing much lah. Mr Kwei at first quite contented. But our Pokpok Alimpako really suck so from only Mezzo/Alto go choir prac on Tue, to all sections go prac on Tuesday, den he left lah.... very pissed.

Tuesday. Nth much happened just that there was literature class until 3.30pm after school... den I scared Mr Kwei angry but then lucky nothing happened.. He didn't notice me, or maybe pretend not to notice. Lol. Den I realise I miss out some things like Hikariga the first part is canon but unison. Den Pokpok is sing some parts lah... Whatever.

Wed.. Ms Seema didn't come.. yay.. haha.. but left us a summary.. I quickly do then took a nap.. couldn't slp so read a bit of the chinese bk...

Cme.... Mr Koh lame as usual.. say what... Ecstasy is Fantasy... Aiya whatever.... talk about drugs and inhalants.... crap.

Den choir prac... can't rmb much liao.

Today. Chinese bk test. I didn't read finish lor so cannot pass one lah. I just anyhow do since the qns are in order. I fink the most can get around 15 lor...

Sci lab got some Science Practical Assessment... very simple, just have copy wad we did last wk.

D&T... Just did 1 whole lesson on drawing isometric pictures and Design Presentation.

Choir pract... Mr Kwei pissed with our Pokpok again... haix.. Den left with the Music of the Spheres to learn. We haven't learn and Mr Kwei just mentioned it today. So must like memorise so tmr there's pract. The song very hard lor... so weird and stuffs like that..

Whatever. Almost packed finish my stuffs liao. Gonna wake up at 3.30am on Saturday den have to reach Changi Airport by 5am, or 4.55am. Haha...

Anyway, Friday was errr.... kinda boring. Like NCC day in the morning. Lucky the message not too long if not can die of heat and from standing for so long. Den after that was Maths... Ms Lim only had 1 period so she had this quiz thing... To prepare us for the test. Haha.. den got divided into groups of 4 or 5... my group got 5 ppl cuz of me... cuz it's like reg 2, 12, 22, 32, 42. Haha. I didn't get to answer a question lah, time constraint. But our group got 4/4 correct =).

Den after that was PE. Heard from Rayson that we're gonna run 6km. But was wrong. The NCC people thought is run also den they never change into PE clothes den Mr Siow very pissed with them. Den in the end we can play games, and run only 3 rounds inside the school... and also, he pump us (dunno what exercise lah, down breathe in, up breathe out, and vice versa), den some stepping-on-the-stomach thing... all sorts of crazy stuffs =\.

Anyway, after PE was recess lah, den after that was Music... Mr Aw gave us 10 qns den ask us to write the answers... it's all about ourselves except got one which is like "what do you want me to teach for music".. Den halfway we have to go for this MINDS talk which was like very boring..

Skipped a bit of English.. den English we had to debate lah... gave 4 qns and we have 8 groups.. den randomly choose which group do what, etc.. very boring... I go sabo Peng Ho, ask him to present.. haha...

Anyway, after that was speech day. I am not going for Speech Day already (but Desmond was like very pissed with me).. Den Reuben asked me to go help the Altos but in the end I was quite a lamppost there. Haha.. Oh yeah.. They did some Spirited Away den I was like singing Alto, Fadhil singing Sop, Joshua Tenor and Reuben Bass.. haha.. some chorale =P.

Den nth liao.. went home around 2 minutes before those people got dismissed.. haha.

Yesterday... choir practice... morning was practising the French medley with the speech day people.. den Mr Low (Xu Hao) came.. Den nothing much lah... Den later Mr Kwei came den practise Suri Ram and some other songs... den Lunch... had it in school with Desmond, Reuben, Joshua and Justin... den went to SSCC to practise lah..

Den got one part of da chang jin Mr Kwei very angry cuz many people never raise their hand high enough when doing the drum beating thing (the tenors one)... den he say he will pump the next person who dun raise it high enough... lucky he never pump.. Den after a while the Spirited Away song... got this part, the To ji te i ku o mo yi.. etc part, many people forgot the lyrics.. Den Mr Kwei say he's going test one-on-one already... we thought he jk but den he really test... den say if u pass den can get dismissed...

Den began mugging.. haha.. Reuben very what sia.. say he wanna go toilet... so he went out in front den everyone clapped for him.. but den he went toilet.. lol.. he went very long.. =\. Roger was the first to volunteer... den he passed.. lol.. den Pock Thong next den he failed =P... den I wanted to try lah.. den I think exactly 3.10pm (Reuben's watch) I went... Reuben and I very psychic... Reuben say he will test me the melody part den I say he will test after the 2nd tm tm... den really lor.. he test just after the 2nd tmm tmm..

Den surprisingly I can hit the high Ab.. hehe... den when reaching the canon I thought he will say stop or sth den he go play the sop part when I was swallowing my saliva... =\.. den almost choke den ask him to let me restart... den after that was the front melody part... den after that he pass me liao.. haha.. like so easy.. I go and pronounce all the vowels den very little consonants =).

Den being a nice guy, I stayed back and helped some people... oh yeah... a short while after me, everyone started to line up already.. haha... den Reuben dun wanna go.. lol.. I helped him pass by 'relieving' stress.. I went to take his score away.. lol.. I did the same to Bing Xing but too bad he failed.. Pock Thong passed on his 2nd try, Robin also, Gabriel failed for twice I fink... den at 4pm Mr kwei say he will test the rest on Monday cuz VJC coming..

Well anyway, after that went to play soccer with Pock Thong, Robin, Gabriel and Neng Wei... Very tyco cuz I scored 2 goals against Pock Thong and Neng Wei.. lol. Oh yeah, Pock Thong kicked then Robin tried to block.. den he kick until it went into OEPS building.. den nobody was inside the sch.. not even the security guards.. we found 3 sticks den Pock Thong's idea to tie shoe laces to get the ball but in the end Neng Wei just climbed into the sch den get the ball.. lol... den Gabriel and I have to be Robin's servants to tie back his shoelaces..

Den tie finish den Neng Wei say he must go home already... den nothing much.. went home lor..
