Day 3 of camp.
Woke up at 6.15am and got ready. Then at 7am, we had morning PT. I think Reuben was still feeling sleepy so he just let us play some games. Haha. I played soccer at the basketball court until around 8, when breakfast was ready.
This time, the protein group was group 4, Robin's group. It was based on the skit or campfire event done the previous night. They had ham for breakfast, not cockroaches. Haha. So we had 2 slices of bread. I decided to take jam and peanut butter because on the first day, I took butter/margarine. Oh before breakfast, Johnnie wanted to see the committee members. He said that instead of having sports which was scheduled earlier, we should have practice instead because it was raining. The main reason is definitely not because of that, it was because Cheam, Jing Yuan, Eujinn and Johnnie himself were there and maybe they could help us the final bit before they go. So after breakfast we went to the music room.
Tenors stay in the room! Muahahaha. Then the first hour was spent on Q&A. I asked most of the questions like support, tone and stuffs. Managed to digest some stuffs but was feeling very sleepy. Then at around 10am, Cheam had to go for a while to see Mr Aw Yong, and he asked us to do anything we like, like take sectionals or something.. but I just kind of chatted with Fadhil and Joshua then went to sleep. Then when Cheam came back at around 10.30am, he clarified further questions then tested us pair by pair (except Reuben who had to go alone). I had to do the "Laughing in contagious, has its advantages... ..." exercise which I'm not very good at =\. Reuben did the octave jump one. Haha.
Then at 11am, we had to do Area Cleaning. First group canteen, 3rd group and our group gym toilet -.-! 4th group music room. Slack sia. And 5th group had to do the classroom toilet. I pity the 5th group because the toilet is very very dirty. Haha.
Then we went to the gym toilet and found out that the badminton people were using it to bathe and stuffs like that. So Neng Wei (our group) went to ask Reuben what to do and Pock Thong (3rd group) went to ask Desmond. Reuben told us to clean seminar room 3, where they stayed and Desmond told them to go around the school picking litter. Muahahahaha.. after some "arguments", we had decided that our group clean their bunk while PT's group clean the school. Lol.
Then we kind of slacked. That room has lots of hidden treasure.. found 3 coins (unfortunately, 5-cent and 10-cent coins) while I was sweeping. Then went to slack lor.
Then we cleared our bunk and stuffs then went to seminar room 3 for debrief and prize presentation. Joshua's and Neng Wei's teams tied for 1st place, so they scissors, paper, stone for all the 5 members then Neng Wei's team won. Haha. Our team "Th3 Ownag3" got owned. Got last in place, only 5 points. Haha. The last 2nd and last 3rd got 7 points.. can't remember which teams but remembered that one of the teams was Robin's team, Sui2 Bian4. Anything lah. Then after that had to do reflections so I just anyhow said some stuffs.
Then after claiming our wallets and handphones and stuffs, BREAK CAMP!
Epilogue - Personal reflections.
Generally, the whole camp was quite fun. Like we were allowed to do anything we like after lunch for example, until lunch ended, of course. However, the discipline was not really taken care of, like during fall-in that time there were people talking, and people late, not falling-in properly, etc.
Some activites were well-planned. Like initiative games and tower building, they helped to bond groups/teams together and all those. Also morning PT on the 2nd day, it allowed some of us to lead the choir to activities. Okay nothing much to say already. Feeling very tired now.

Argh. Yesterday I was blogging halfway when my browser hanged! All thanks to Robin's blog.
So my prediction was wrong. The camp was rather fun.
Day 1.
Woke up at around 5am. Went to school and reached there at around 6.37am, the earliest. Not kiasu, is because sometimes the bus won't arrive on time. Then Pock Thong, Jia Xian and Leon arrived. The trio slept at Jia Xian's house. They told me that they slept at 3am because they were talking to some girl(s) who was/were at a chalet. Haha. Then at around 7am Desmond led us to seminar room 3 for some final briefing on the schedule of the camp.
Then we went to our own rooms or bunks. Neng Wei was in charge of the keys to our room - Seminar room 4 (the haunted room); and Pock Thong in charge of room 5. Then led the choir up to outside the music room for some briefing and attendance. My team members were Wei Liang, Justin Lim (sec 2), Chong Lim, Wesley (who came for day camp on the 2nd and 3rd day only), and my group members were my team + Neng Wei, Ismaharif, Eric, Justin Ng and Bing Xing. Then after the group and teams were introduced, we went to our own rooms where we will be sleeping (or have slept) for the camp. Our room was the best, because Neng Wei arranged it such that it was 3 rows of tables placed horizontally and we just try to squeeze in to sleep, whereas the tables in Pock Thong's room were arranged such that there was 1 row of table placed vertically on each side. Shall elaborate that later.
Then went to seminar room 3 (where Desmond, Reuben and some other seniors would be sleeping) for some Team Identity thing. Had to design a flag using markers and/or paint on a piece of mahjong paper and also a banner. Our team was like anything lah, whatever, you give a suggestion then we use it, I have no idea that kind of thing lor. Then in the end we made up some sword and wrote some words. Our team name was "Th3 Ownag3". Really fits our team lor, because in the end our team... ... read on first.
Then presentation and everything. By then we were lagging by around half an hour already, as according to the schedule. Then after presentation we went up to the music room for practice. After warmups, we SLs + Desmond decided to have sectionals. So 1 or 1½ hr (can't remember) of sectionals until 12. Oh lunch was supposed to be at 12 but got delayed so combines was until 1pm. Chan Wei and I took combines because Ling Chung sprained his ankle last Saturday and could not attend the camp. Did Dorven Dalai first. Not too bad lah, managed to correct some timing/rhythm and some dynamics. Sops got this Je-khui-yaa problem. Haha. Then completed the song at around 12.35pm and we were like OMG, we wasted more than half the time on the more difficult song. So Chan Wei agreed to start on Voyage first for ATB while the Sops rest. Then for that song we managed to correct some timing again, but not really on dynamics. Managed to complete the song at 1pm (overshot by a few minutes) though.
Then lunch. Camp food is always like that so it was quite alright. After lunch I forgot whether it was initiative games first or campfire item preparation first. Side note: It was supposed to be talent-time on the 2nd night, but because Badminton was having camp on the same days as us, and they were having campfire, we decided to share the fire with them, so talent-time was changed to campfire. So let's say initiative games started first. There was a confusion as to the schedule given by Desmond. Shall not say about it lest it causes a confusion on my blog as well. First we did the Entanglement, where we cross arms or something within a group then try to reverse it lah. Our team only had 3 people (Justin went home). Oh it was team vs team in a group. So our team vs Neng Wei's. Then it was kind of unfair because they had more people so Fadhil joined in. Still it was unfair as we do not know which hands crossed to which and whether they are possible or not. So in the end we decided to play moving to chairs, where each team of 3 had to be all on 2 chairs and try to move to a place. Then if someone falls, they have to restart. We won that game so in the end we won =).
Then went to play [forgot-what-name]. It was group vs group I think.. Pock Thong's vs our group. We had to sit on chairs and move towards the other side. When 2 adjacent chairs are occupied by the 2 different groups, then the winner was decided by scissors, paper, stone or thumb wrestling (we didn't do thumb wrestling). Then the loser had to return to the base and the 2nd person start from the base, whereas the winner try to move on to his opponents' base until he crosses over. In the end, we won the game, thanks to Wei Liang. Psychic as he won so many scissors, paper, stone consecutively. Haha.
Then we went to play Chin Boon's game. One person has to be blindfolded and had to carry a tennis ball using a skipping rope only. Then he has to transport it to another pail and the other team members had to give instructions. I carried the ball (cheated a bit because I shifted the blindfold so that I could see) and sorta won that game, but Chin Boon said I used my hands. But we finished that game first. So in the end it was a draw.
Side note: Desmond said that the best team (he didn't mention which event) will get protein for breakfast. Cockroaches are full of protein =\. So we thought that the winner of the initative games will get protein for breakfast. On the other hand, he said that the loser will get punishment. The team will get to eat CB (short for Chia's Bread). On Tuesday when we were having our camp briefing, Mr Chia gave us this loaf of bread (ohh.. coffee!) and told us that he had enough of those. Haha. In the end nobody ate. I passed (more of threw) the loaf to Desmond before I left on Tuesday.
Back to the games, the last game was Chan Wei's game, the moving of chairs, and the proper one. His rules were slightly different because we had to move from 1 place to another and there were very tempting tables, whiteboard and chairs to touch. Every time a person touches the floor or any of those, add 5 seconds. We decided that if we lose that game against Neng Wei's team (as in slower than them), we would have 3 wins each, and maybe we both teams can have protein for breakfast. Haha. But we would just try our best lah. In the end, they still won. They touched the floor/tables (really very tempting!) a few times.. can't remember how much, whereas we didn't touch anything at all =).
Then campfire preparation. It was each group instead of team presenting something. And we had to get to a place to discuss. It was gd that Neng Wei was the key holder so we used our bunk. Haha. Then we actually did nothing at all. All so sian then came up with nothing. Wasted our time.
Well after that was practice. Sectionals actually. Desmond asked what we can do so I just anyhow say sectionals on all the songs lor. For tenors we kind of did voice class instead. Not very efficient actually, and very slack. After that I just dismissed them for personal admin. I was kind of late so the queue to the bathroom was like never-ending. It stretched to outside the toilet door -.-! Then Syukri said that he knew a place where there were bathrooms. I didn't believe at first because I didn't know there was, and followed him until we arrived to the toilet where there were NO bathrooms. Wasted our time. Went back to that bathroom toilet and found out the queue was longer!
Well then went for dinner. After dinner it was movie time. The room to watch was like our bunk. Haha. Oh yeah forgot to mention, in the afternoon Neng Wei took our team's flag and was hitting other people with it. In the end it was like crumpled and everything so Wei Liang crushed it and threw it at night during the movie time (I was throwing it too.. heh). First we watched Shutter (correct spelling?). It was about this girl who died, and haunts a guy. The guy was taking pictures and some white patches kept appearing on the pictures. Oh the badminton people came and halfway they left.. So we continued to watch the movie without them. Then some of the guy's friends died by committing suicide. Towards the end, we found out that the friends raped the girl when she died (the scene was very fake). The guy died at the end, when he tried to take picture of his house with his camera and found nothing, then he threw the camera onto the floor and it took a picture of him, with the girl sitting on top of him. Then he jumped down. Not bad lor because he jumped down 2 times and didn't die. Only the third time then he died (I think). Not bad for a scary movie.
Then the 2nd movie was cursed. No as in the title was Cursed. Talk about werewolves and how they "infect" people. Very vulgar (Desmond even told us not to reproduce any line in the movie) and funny, rather than scary. Not scary enough lah. After the movie, we went to sleep (some people slept before watching the 2nd movie). For our bunk, very few people slept on the floor while for Pock Thong's bunk, very few people slept on the tables. Haha. Slept at 12+ I think.
Day 2.
Woke up at 6.10am only to find out that the mosquitoes bit me during the night. So went to wash my face and everything before going for morning PT. Kind of a real PT for once. PT was supposed to end at 8 but breakfast was delayed until around 8.30am I think. Did a lot of star jumps and green bottles. After doing 5 star jumps Reuben told us to rest 20 seconds then do another 5 star jumps, then kept changing people to lead. In the end we asked for more 20 seconds. Haha.
Then breakfast was 2 slices of bread with butter, jam, peanut butter and kaya passed around. Makes me go hungry now =\. Oh the protein was some sausage. I forgot which 2 teams got them (one of them was Sean's because he's in AEP). It was based on the flag only (ours were not accepted because it was crumpled already). Haha. Went to check the scoreboard after that and found out that we actually got the most points for initative games but least for flag (0 points, the highest got 9 points). Score 3 points for initative games. Big difference.
After breakfast was item preparation (for campfire) and tower building. Forgot which order anyway, this was what was written on the schedule. For item preparation it was not too bad because Wesley came and came up with all sorts of weird ideas. In the end we did a Harry Potter skit. I was Lily Potter (-.-), Neng Wei my husband! Wei Liang my son! Wesley Voldemort, Bing Xing Dumbledore, Ismaharif Hagrid, Justin Ng was Aunt Petunia, and I forgot who was his (her) husband. Haha.
As for the tower building, it was very lame. For my team, we were given markers to start off with. Pock Thong's team very what lor, they used net and hanged it on top, as if their tower were to be hanged mid-air. Pock Thong's team had masking tape to start with, but it's good because EVERY TEAM started trading with them. Haha. In the end Pock Thong very lame lor, give out free tape -.-! Then I think they finished the whole roll.
Our team built this tower using markers. Quite good lah. Quite strong also. Reuben told me that they are going to throw a tennis ball and see if the tower will fall or not. Haha. In the end they used the scoreboard (they actually reused the scoreboard used for last time's ISG organised by Jonathan, Pock Thong and I) and try to blow. Our team was one of the teams where the tower didn't collapse =).
Then after that was lunch. After lunch was practice. Eh what was it again? Now I am confused.. I forgot which came first. But anyway, for practice we did voice class. Nicholas, Darren and Roy (correct?) came. Darren kind of helped us for voice class. After that was Physical Games. At first it was Captain's Ball but Reuben said almost everyone wants to play something else so it was changed to either soccer, basketball, tennis or badminton. Played soccer and missed many shots. =\. After that I just went to play a bit of tennis before the debrief for Item Preparation/Personal Admin. That is, from 5pm to 7pm it was up to the leaders to decide how long they wanted for each. So in the end we kind of rehearsed a bit before we went to bathe. The water was very warm =).
So after bathing, I had like 1¼ hr left, so I just slacked around. Talked to Johnnie about some stuffs about the choir lor, before we got disturbed by Malcolm who wished to be taupok-ed in the pond. Haha. Then dinner was served at 7pm. Some fish & chips (fries). It was like a small piece of fish plus around 10 fries (if they can be counted like that). Couldn't eat yet because Justin Lim (sec 2) is a vegetarian, and his food was passed to the badminton people so Mr Aw Yong went out with him and Reuben to buy food. So we had to wait for them. Waited until around 7.45pm before they came back with KFC food. Heard that Mr Aw Yong spent more than $140 on Justin's and our food. Justin had some fries and dunno what while we had some chicken, nuggets and mashed potato. I just took a piece of nugget and a piece of chicken. Well a big thank you to Mr Aw Yong!
Anyway, after that was campfire. The fire was very naughty (can't find another word to describe) because first it started big and wild, and they had to add sand to the edge to stop the fire from spreading. Then it became TOO SMALL, so they had to add kerosene bombs very often. =\. Anyway we presented our skit lah. Our skit make until very lame lor. Oh yah forgot to mention.. because we added this Tiger Beer commercial, then I had to act as Jessica Alba and advertise the deodorant. And also Wei Liang had to draw a scar since he was Harry Potter. Then I told him that if he takes over me in the commercial, he won't have to have a scar. Haha. Actually scar or no scar makes no difference, since the people also cannot see. Then he agreed. Yay.
Anyway, Group 1's skit was about this guy who wants to sing but got invited as a sweeper instead. Then our group was group 2, then group 3 was just singing. Pock Thong sang the loudest lor, whoa. I forgot what they sang already. Then group 4 was about this guy (Ian Lim act as Ian Ang) who met this group of gangster and joined them, and in the end became Ian Tan. Lol. Then group 5 was lamer than us - A skit on how 'we' prepared for the skit. -.-! Then had to sing Victorian Anthem with them. =\. The badminton skit was very lame, it was about this racing thing and dunno lah. Whatever.
Also did some cheers and stuffs. Oh yeah, we sabo Desmond to do solo for this banana dance. At first wanna sabo Reuben but later PT next morning he torture us. Haha.. Oh yeah in the end some people go sabo Reuben to play the guitar solo. =\.
Then dunno lah. Then after campfire it was already like 10.30 I think. Then had comm meeting. Johnnie, Jing Yuan, and Darren spoke to us about choir stuffs lor. Then Darren said that SLs should know what to do during sectionals, if not the section won't know what to do. I think he was talking about me, since I was discussing with Joshua as to what to do when he said do another exercise during the sectionals in the afternoon. Many stuffs to digest during that meeting which lasted for around an hr.
Then went to sleep because the movie that the people are going to watch was some amine. I still can't remember the title of the movie, haha. Not scary what, and also felt sleepy, that's why. Slept on Robin's table at room 5. Oh yeah Robin and Shi Jie also came and sleep. I couldn't really sleep until around 1am because 1) Robin and Shi Jie were making so much noise and laming around and 2) was thinking of what the seniors told us. But then at 1am felt very very tired so slept all the way til 6.
Shall continue blogging later. Blogged for more than 2 hrs liao. Haha. Next post will be about Day 3 and personal reflections.

Where got people wake up so early to blog one?
Indeed, I just woke up. Going to bathe soon, and so wash up. Managed to wake up so early (supposed to wake up at 5.30am) because I slept at around 9.30pm last night. Haha.
Now downloading a movie (I dun tell ya which). Last night it was 99.5% completed, so now should have completed right? No!! Still downloading! Using bittorrent technology that's why so slow. Now 99.9% anyway, and the good thing is, I think it's the last block to download (each block 1MB), and downloading halfway liao. So maybe by the end of this post I shall be able to complete the download and switch off my computer during the camps to rest (without worrying).
Anyway, yesterday morning's briefing is just on the activities that are going to be carried out during the camp. I predict that this camp is not going to be as fun as the previous camps, as Desmond said that he was trying to fit in as many things as possible.. but impossible! He was like asking us what activities we can fit in. Haha.
Then went to buy books too. Supposed to be on the 25th (last day of camp) but decided that if I could buy yesterday then I would just buy. So went to buy and realised that I have to buy ALL the books because the Biology, Physics, Chemistry and A Maths books given by my sister are not of the same publisher. My sister gave me Longman Physics book, we're gonna use Federal. Sister gave Federal Biology book, we're gonna use Longman. Sister gave Longman Chemistry book, we're gonna use Federal. Sister gave Pan Pacific A Maths book, we're gonna use Shinglee. Only E Maths is the same though. Then realised I was short of $3 because I had to buy the extra Biology book so the aunty helped me take back 2 pairs of socks. I don't need that many socks anyway, got a lot of them at home already, just that they are like spoilt and torn and dirty and whatever. Oh and after that I returned my English book because most probably we won't be using it next year. Like this and last year we didn't use much of that book. So maybe I'll just buy it next year.
OH YES! Finally finished downloading already. Now "Seeding+Checking", so I'll just leave it to check, then maybe before I leave the house I'll just switch off the computer.
Now 5.23am liao. Gotta go, bye.

Happy birthday to my.. cbox! Haha. Was in the admin page of my cbox yesterday when I realised I created it (according to yesterday) 364 days ago. So today's the first anniversary?
Haix. Dunno why when I log in to Blogger, I seem to forget everything I wanna blog about. Let's see.. choir camp's on Wednesday and I have gotten almost everything packed. The collection of books will be on Friday so extra burden on me. Haha. And just heard from Desmond that Chan Wei and I will have to take combines during the camp as Ling Chung won't be going! And I thought that Saturday was the last day I am going to take combines! Wth.
Just got my hair cut just now. So no more centre (nearly) parting or some sort. Can just comb down and Mr Chia won't be able to "send me home". Oh talking about Mr Chia, we were playing soccer in the school field when Mr Chia walked passed. He was like smiling and we all thought he was going to send Joshua Cheam home because he was wearing his soccer jersey. =\.
Dunno what to blog already.

First.. have to do this stuff.
1. post five weird/random stuffs about yourself
2. at the end of your post, list the names of 5 people who you want next to do this
3. leave a comment "you are tagged" in their blog and tell them to read your blog for rules
1. Robin asked me to do this
2. Ruoyu asked me to do this
3. Lyn asked me to do this
4. I copied this from Lyn.. cuz later Robin's blog hang my browser again.
5. I am Sherman =).
These lucky people have to do this thing.
1. Ashleen
2. Woon Yang
3. Zhiqian
4. Serkiat
5. Kwok Cheung
As you can see these 5 people here have very inactive blogs.. esp Woon Yang.. but for Serkiat.. you haven't blogged for 2 days already!
Anyway, this morning woke up at 6.20am.. supposed to wake up at 6am.. Then rushed to school. Had to board 2 buses because a bus service 31 left when I reached the bus stop.. how unlucky. Then reached school on time. At 7.15am none of the 3 heads were there yet -.-!
Then after doing some Jumping Jets, Push-ups and Sit-ups, we did 2 rounds of running. Very different from the PT that Johnnie took last time. Like very slack. Well anyway then went to play soccer.. had to versus Cheam and Johnnie.. both of them same team sure can die.. but alas.. won them 4-2 or 4-3. The field was very muddy so I had to take out my shoes when I play. And I couldn't sorta dive because I forgot to bring a clean set of clothes to change.
So after PT I went to wash up, then proceeded to the music room. After some warmups, the 3 heads were managing some of the admin stuffs before they went to buy things for the camp. Then when they were leaving that time I took sectionals. Joshua Cheong wasn't here today because he had to go for some IPW prize presentation, but Joshua Cheam was here. Haha. Was kind of surprised as to how come the section became very soft and hesitant for the Wawaki and Apamuy Shungo despite them having learnt the song before. Then towards the end of sectionals, I really cannot make-do with the sound the section produced (because most of them were sec 1s), so I did some voice class with them. If only Joshua was here, since he is better than me in doing voice class. Haha.
Then after sectionals I had to do combines. Chan Wei was absent (just returned from LTC camp) so I asked Ian to help me instead. He said he didn't know what to do so I just asked him to listen to maybe the basses and hear if there are any split notes or something. Then went to do the easier song first - Apamuy Shungo. Then after that did Wawaki. Sorta cleaned up on what Ling Chung taught the other time; strict timing for all the sections. Managed to correct some parts from the sop/alto =).
After some announcements by Ian, the choir got dismissed. Went to eat in the canteen before going home. Tuesday I have to go to school by 9 for choir camp briefing for leaders and asst. leaders. Then Wednesday will be the camp until Friday, whereby on Friday I have to collect the books for sec 3. Gonna return the books for Phy, Chem (no need bio since I didn't order - thought I am only getting double sciences), E and A Maths textbooks.
And today's discipline is very bad. For fellow members reading this, I know this may be the first time I am taking combines, but then at least show me some respect. Told LC what happened today already.. not gonna reveal what I said or what he said though.

Can finally blog in peace -.-!
Anyway, had choir practice today at SSCC. Reached there earlier than usual - around 1 o'clock. Then waited until the room opened then went in.
Practised the Voyage of Songs and Dorven Dalai with Mr Toh, while Mr Kwei just sat aside and watched. Not too bad.. learnt the dynamics and all those. Then we had to perform for other choirs. Wth. Sang A Voyage of Songs then after that TKSS+AHS+Commonwealth performed for us Dorven Dalai. I think the reason we had to sing alone is because the 3 choirs have this Johore trip, whereas we dun have? Not too sure actually.
Then went out for announcements whereas the other choirs were still practising. Got down-ed 20. But seriously it was very noisy during the combines lah. Then after that had to stay back for some stuffs about the camp, and I went to the toilet because I had a terrible stomachache. Dunno what I ate. Then when I came out, I actually dunno what was going on. Haha.
So the thing is, practice on Saturday, PT at 7.15am.. then after warmups Desmond, LC, Reuben and Jia Xian had to go and buy stuffs for the choir camp. Then Ian had to do the announcements thing and Chan Wei and I had to do combines. Then on Tuesday briefing at 9am for the leaders/asst. leaders for the camp. I was kena asst. leader, whereas Wesley will be my leader. Then the choir camp will be on Wed to Fri..
Hmmm. Was packing my cupboard a few days ago when I came across this "tower of hanoi".. some plastic pieces that our group won for last yr's Maths Challenge (quite long ago already). Can remember the first time when I was fascinated by it was during the Temasek Magicland where you have to move 3 discs in 7 moves.. I was kinda the only one among the group who did it, then the teacher tested me on 4 in 15 moves.. and I think I managed a 19. Then now there are 8 discs but I managed to solve it within 255 moves =).
Anyway, gotta go already. Bye.

Pract this morning.
Haha same "title" as the previous post. Anyway reached school quite early - at 9+. Then at 10.15am Desmond made the announcements first, while Ling Chung was SMS-ing Reuben at the back of the choir. Reuben just gave a reply "Ok coming", then at around 10.25am LC SMS him again.. the message was something like "Oi!! Hurry up lah!!" and Desmond was trying to stall time by making the announcements go VERYYYY SLOWWWWWWWW. While still waiting for Reuben, Desmond actually came to the back and told LC that he doesn't know what to say to the choir to waste time..
Then Reuben finally came. I would actually laugh if he forgot about the choir keys. Then shortly after warmups there was sectionals. During sectionals at first I wanted to split the section into 2 such that those who hasn't learnt the 2 newer songs yet would be in 1 group, then LC say revising through as a whole section would be more recommended. Then found out his idea was better as there were only 2 people who don't know the songs yet - Edmond and Ee Yang (just dropped to Tenor). So we went through Dorven Dalai first because we didn't do the song on Saturday. Went through quite slowly actually - it took around 45 minutes (out of 1½ hrs) to do that song. Then I didn't know how to go through the Voyage of Songs so I just anyhow did. Then went back to Dorven Dalai and did some of the dynamics. Not too bad since it's quite a simple song. However, Tenors tend to make the mistake of singing the first verse during the second time, and that happened during combines as well -.-! During the last few minutes of sectionals, Reuben was like happily BLASTING away the first verse during the repeat.
Then back to the music room for combines. Not really efficient for the Wawaki song as LC made the mistake of counting a dotted crotchet for 4 quavers.. in other words, the timing he followed was the tum-dum by the Tenors and Basses (3 quavers per count), and when he played the Sops2 and Altos part, he played 4 quavers in a count. So there was confusion when all the sections combine (well not actually confusion.. somehow I heard the Altos singing correctly). Anyway, still confusion.
Then after that there was comm meeting. Ended at around 3.30 then went to eat in school before going home. Oh yeah, for the subject combination thing, I got into VS2A - Triple Science + Geography Elective. Hah. Actually many people got into their first choice, including Jason who got into the same combination as me, and he actually (crazily) counted the number of people who got VS2A. 81. Doubt we will be in the same class next year anyway.
Hmm. There will be practice tomorrow at 1.45pm. Oh yeah, one more thing, I heard that Mr Kwei would be really leaving for good next year.

Pract this morning..
Was walking towards the school then Ling Chung called me.. then walked towards me in the usual Ling Chung manner. Then he was like complaining about how to go about doing the song "A Voyage Of Song". Haha.. then bypass Pock Thong and Neng Wei because they had Peer Leaders' Camp. Haha.
Then practice.. after some warmups we went for sectionals.. 1 and a half hours on just the voyage song.. The first part of the sectionals I let Joshua take, then found that it was too laggy so he said I do better, then he check for support and techniques all those. Then somehow finished the song just on time then went back.
Ling Chung had a hard time doing combines so went for another 1¼ hour sectionals. I suggested that duration anyway.. actually want 1½ but then if 1½ then sectionals will end at 12 - in the afternoon.
So first I asked the section whether they have any problems then went through some parts.. Then asked them to form into pairs (7 people so Ling Chung did not need to). Then went through the whole song with each pair. Had to pump Ranon, Dao En, Chong Lim and Sean because of time wasting. Then finished just on time - at 11.45pm. Haha. Then since the other sections had not returned then Joshua did some voice class lah. Then just nice finish liao then other sections returned.
Then this time combines was much nicer and easier for LC to so. So did the Dorven Dalai also, aka Jorven Jalai lol. Not too bad except that Sop/Alto cannot get their notes and sometimes I can't get mine when moving from one part to another. Dunno what happened to Reuben, keep singing wrong notes =\.
Then had lunch in school. Then went home lor. There's pract on Wednesday... at 10.15am. Very smart because O' levels on that day is from morning to 10.30am den from 2pm all the way to late afternoon. So we practise during their break time. Haha. Then Thur another pract at 1.45pm at SSCC.
I think that's all liao. Haha... Oh.. now listening to crazy frog. Very weird. Haha.. Okay now gonna eat then learn the songs liao. Bye. Why must you all remind me again?

So late liao.
Anyway, about yesterday's stuffs (or the day before), Grace didn't actually lose her handphone - it was a prank. No wonder the people at the other end sounded so childish. And my mother's handphone has been found.. she left it in her office.
Anyway, woke up at 11 today. Dun laugh. Had choir practice so rushed to Siglap South Community Centre for comm meeting first.. I realised I was the first to be there.. that's because the bus came when I reached the bus stop.. usually I might have to wait for 15 or 20 minutes. Then after that went into the hall.. still early at that time but Mr Kwei opened the room already. So went inside and received 2 new scores: Dorven Dalai (the 'o' has 2 dots on top) and A Voyage of Songs. Both pieces are mad.. Dorven Dalai (written on top: Inner Mongolian Folk Song) is in F# major, which is like 6 sharps and has many rhythms, whereas A Voyage of Songs is in Db major, 5 flats.. and has many triplets. The composer should change to C# major then 7 sharps.. den call it A Voyage of Sharps.
Then combine warmups with other schools.. like TKSS, Commonwealth and AHS (I didn't know he took that choir). Then after that splitted for sectionals. Mr Low asked for one SL from each school then Joshua said both of us go.. then in the end Mr Low only asked for 1 SL so I went back. Haha. Then Joshua and the SL from AHS taught us Dorven Dalai.. He kept playing on the white keys.. which means everything he played was flat. Then Joshua didn't really correct him! Argh. In the end Mr Low taught us for the last page.
Then A Voyage of Songs. The song is actually quite simple except for the triplets and the dotted crotchets.. and not forgetting the high notes. So I think we really have to squeeze our whatever, as said by Mr Toh.
Then went for combines. Poor tenors didn't get to sit down at all =\. Haha. So anyway went through the whole of 2 songs actually. Then after a short debriefing, I went home.
Okay, so I need to bring $10 on Saturday for the VJ concert which I can't remember is on which date. Oh yeah, after practice I went to SPC to buy something to eat. Then while queueing up I saw this guy who was queueing in front of me.. He was very angry because he thought that he could get a discount but he couldn't. Then he kept saying the services was very poor, then say the chairman blah blah blah. Poor cashier could only force a smile and continue working.
Oh and thanks to Yan Cheng for the crazy frog CD. Just transferred everything from the CD to my computer. Haha.
Okay, I gtg already. Bye

I was on my way here.. to Blogger, wondering what to blog because Ser Kiat thinks that his life is boring, and yet he has much to say, so according to him, I have many things to say.
Then "Grace" called me. Obviously the person at the other end wasn't Grace, he/she told me that the phone was found in Escape Theme Park/Downtown East. I think around 3 people took turns to talk to me, and saying that they cannot get through Grace's home and other contacts.
Then I called Robin to ask about Grace because I think that they were together in the 6a2 chalet (well, I didn't know until Ashleen called me and told me she's at her badminton chalet, then I somehow remembered). Well anyway, told Grace what happened.. and was telling those kids who were holding Grace's phone to return to a police station (and they even asked me whether they'll get a reward!)
Okay, so I dunno what happened already.
Anyway, for the last time, tomorrow's choir practice is at 2pm at SSCC, so please stop asking me about it. I guess it's too late to ask anyway. Comm meeting's at 1pm.. I doubt I can even wake up at that time. Haha. Has been sleeping late and waking up even later.
So just received the news that my MUM lost her handphone as well. Think she left it in her office so I asked her to go check tomorrow. So now she borrowed my alarm clock =\.
And to Robin/Ryan and Ashleen, come on. Relax lah. Okay maybe I shouldn't say anymore about it lest I pissed off the two parties instead of bringing peace.
And Robin, I know it's too late to read this.. but I hope you go for choir practice tomorrow.
The Apamuy Shungo and Wawaki's tune is still buzzing in my head. So irritating. Oh that reminds me that Ling Chung borrowed my Wawaki score and hasn't returned it yet. Haha.
And I can't reach a G now. When I try to whack G I always (most of the time) crack.. and need to strain. Dunno why now my voice deteriorate liao.
And yisou.com has changed to yahoo.com.cn (Yahoo! China). Haha. I was like searching for lyrics and suddenly the yahoo site came out instead. By the way that site is a good site to download free (illegal) Chinese songs and lyrics.
Oops.. has been starting with "and" for the last 4 paragraphs. Okay I dunno what to type already.

Sian. Slept for very long in the afternoon so I am not feeling sleepy now.
Forgot to add. This morning Mr Koh went to the music room and asked all the sec 2 students to do a survey on Science modular system. He very lame lor. Martin (from VJ) was here, then Mr Koh said that he was here to sing as well. Oh and he said the subject combination thing is going to be out on (actually around) 16th Nov.
Now I feel like I am using a Macintosh. Haha. Using Firefox with this skin called Noia 2.0 (eXtreme). Actually has been using it for quite some time already.. but lately they updated the skin until the buttons for minimizing, maximizing and closing the window looks like Apple ones, and the background is a gradient from well... light grey to dark grey. Lol.
Dunno what to blog already. Hopefully I am going to start homework tomorrow (or today!). Byebye.

Hey.
So today's choir practice was a killer. So used to sleeping late and had to wake up at 6 today. So after sleeping in the bus, I felt a little better. Went to East Coast Park and reached there quite early. Guess what.. only Bing Xing, Edwin, Gabriel, Ling Chung, Neng Wei, Robin and I played soccer. So something like sec 1s vs the rest. And it was a very lame soccer game. So much for coming so early.
After washing up, I went to quickly eat before going up to the music room. Then there was this 2-hr sectionals. Finished the songs pretty fast (I didn't really go through the tum-dum part). Then test on projection and pitching.. and also support. Joshua went through with them the support in the music store room. Oh yeah.. Cheam came in and he was very shocked to see that there are very few Tenors.
Then combines was not too efficient. Much time was spent on Sop/Alto because they could not get the rhythm and some notes were also wrong.. Tenor/Bass generally had no problem because our parts are only tum-dum, just that we were rushing.
Okay, then comm meeting was postponed to Thursday. Then ate in school. Then went home. Then slept. Then now I am blogging. Time passes really quickly. I haven't done any homework yet. Too lazy to do.. haha.. Okay, gtg, bye.

Which is better? Eternal happiness or a piece of stale bread?
Of course eternal happiness. But hang on..
Nothing is better than eternal happiness.
A stale bread is better than nothing.
Therefore stale bread is better than eternal happiness.

I think I should blog about what I have missed out the past 2 entries.
On Friday, after being dismissed from class, we had to go down to the hall for some sending off ceremony. I would just prefer to go home during recess like what happened last year. Haha. Anyway, there was this band from a CC (can't remember which). At the end Mr Maran told us that they will play some music for us but we can leave anytime because it was sort of impromptu. Then when the person started singing, practically everyone left ;). Haha.
Then afterwards I just had a drink in the canteen before going home. Then there was this guy who gave us this leaflet to join the lesson on the rock band I think. Or was it guitar? Can't remember. But anyway, they just stuff it to us and I just stuffed it to someone else. Haha.
So nothing good to talk about happened on that day.
Anyway, Saturday was like this.. Went for practice at 7.30am. Then practised until I think 9am, then slacked. Reuben and Seth were playing the guitar.. haha.. I went w/ Desmond to Level 2 1H classroom to look at the powerpoint presentation created by Darren and Kenneth (well, only they were there). "Tried" to set the slides to change automatically.. But was not used to the new version of Powerpoint.. in the end Darren got it. Haha. Then went back to the music room to slack.
After a while, we went down to the canteen to actually sing. After singing for 2 songs, we saw that no one was actually listening to us, so we went back to the music room. Just then, one family (with a plump boy) came into our music room and wanted to listen to us. Haha. =\.
And slacked again! Went down to find a place to sing but because there were cameras and stuffs like that, we didn't. Went back to the music room again. Then the food came! Was very hungry so ate 2 burgers and 1 cup of coleslaw. I was one of those lucky ones to eat 2 burgers. Reuben ate 2 burgers and 3 cups of coleslaw I think. Haha.
Then Junyuan's mother came (while we were eating).. So had to sing again. After they left, we continued slacking.
And slacked..
And slacked..
And slacked..
Then after lunch in school, I went home.
Well anyway, thanks to Desmond for telling me not to choose D&T as one of my secondary 3 subjects even if it is a humanities subject (Jorven said that Mr Koh said it was, so wasn't sure actually), because of the class I might get in. Haha. Well anyway I still chose it as my 2nd choice.
When I was about to go down to the canteen, I heard one of the band members shouting at other band members. That actually attracted Mr Liong and Mr Chia. So went to ask Yihao what happened (he was one of those who got shouted at).. well, this is what he wrote in his blog:
Kejian sir screamed at us after a meeting with the teachers-in-charge... U noe wad i call tat? Mood swings. Totally...Basically he is pissed coz Mr ikhwan said tat he might cancel the concert since there aint much pple working hard for it and the band is playing horrible music...
Well you can read the rest in his blog.
It's very bored at home.. Especially when trying to create a Flash game and messing it up. Now I don't know what to do next. I spent around half an hour trying to make a preloader page and half a day creating the basic look of the game. Now it is very messy because I have many variables used for debugging purposes and I don't know which is which now. Argh! Anyway, I also don't wanna go out.. rejected Ashleen's badminton game this afternn.. so I am hoping for people to blog more often (and longer ones) so that I can read.
Anyway, my 3 choices for subject combinations are (in order of preference): VS2A (Triple Science + Geog Elect), VS2E (Double Science + Geog Elect + D&T), and VS1E (Double Science + Geog Elect). Pls stop asking me on MSN. Oh and good luck to Yihao for getting his VS account working.. or rather submitting his combinations on time.
